Not fair but allowing third parties for pay for personal medical bills the door is wide open for this sort of invasion of privacy.

This is why the patients in particular need to support any measure to eliminate dependence on a third party reimbursement system ie insurance based medical care.

Efforts need to be focused on WHAT, WHY and HOW much is being payed rather than WHO will pay. I'd much rather pay for my own medical care except for major hospitalizations or procedures. If the patient had more financial responsibility the health CARE industry would be forced to price competitively and efficiently. Keep the care and financial end in the patients hands.
