Trouser Trout. That's the problem you perpetuate. Dumbed down homeschooled teabag troglodytes homeschooling the next batch.

So having the right to have abortions is forcing their need on the whole country (how, are you being forced to have one?) but making abortions illegal would not be forcing your beliefs on them right back? How does that work? How is that not hypocritical? I assume by the way you talk you're pro-life, correct me if I'm wrong.
Personally I much rather go to a "godless" hospital where they will respect my choices. Especially if I am ever raped. God, if I am raped don't let them drag me down to a Catholic nuthouse where I will be denied the emergency contraceptives I require. Don't let them put the value a bunch of cells that aren't even a person yet above a real actual person. Amen.
Don't worry. After your forced vaginal probe and "legitimate" rape, you have no chance of getting pregnant. Any card carrying teabagger will tell you that.

<quoted text> Where's the "Compassion?" Are you serious or are you deranged? We're talking about a group of misfits who are attempting to shut down Catholic Hospitals because they believe in the human rights of children.
again, no one is even thinking about shutting down any hospital...

you are not really in touch with reality... you should seek counseling from a mental health professional..

I agree. However there are some cases where there is direct defiance of the law based on some religious justification. For example, anti-discrimination law says a licensed bakery business may not refuse to to provide a cake based on one's stated attitude toward gay couples, based on some religious attitude. Such a refusal would be in direct defiance of the law, and would thus deserve to be penalized.
Government is seen as having a compelling interest in preventing discrimination in places of public accommodation and their providing of goods and services, it's why the baker in Colorado lost. The case of the wedding photographer in New Mexico is currently sitting in the in box of the SCOTUS, if they take her case, these cases will all be over but the screaming. There will be no free exercise exception from anti-discrimination statutes, no matter how much they want one.

1. Have you ever seen Carson Kressley? Tim Gunn? The guy on Family Feud?
See is you can pick him out:

2. Of course they're not. And all people that are referred to as gay, aren't. It's ok, I don't mind explaining the obvious.
I've never heard of, nor seen, Carson Kressley. I've never heard of, nor seen, Tim Gunn. I stopped watching Family Feud in the late 70's. And if you're referring to Richard Dawson (I'm not sure if he is still the host of Family Feud, or not), he's not gay I don't believe.

There are no openly gay people in our circle of friends, so there is no reason to tell my children anything about gay people. Do you spend time telling your children people are heterosexual? No. So why would you make a point of talking about any ones sexuality?
Does your isolated family of militia-types pretend that black people don't exist, too, so you don't have to tell the kiddies about them either?

I feel sad for your kids. But perhaps one day they'll be more intelligent, progressive, and open-minded than you.

They could hardly be WORSE, after all...:)

Religion is not "legal"

Religion is not "illegal"

Religion has no legal existence whatsoever.
