Doctors propose pilot program for Mo. Medicaid
A proposal outlined by a pair of doctors Tuesday would create a pilot project in which primary care physicians would be paid a flat monthly amount for each Medicaid patient they accept.

This is the model that has worked in several states and large employers.
If the dr gets the health and keeps them healthy he dosn't need to spend as much time with them. Gives him great big incentive to get them straightened up and on a routine series of well visits
