Premiums for family health plans hit $15,745

WASHINGTON -- It sounds like good news: Annual premiums for job-based family health plans went up only 4 percent this year.

Insurance companies are entirely at fault for the nation's unaffordable healthcare. How can a wal mart worker making less than $10 an hour afford those premiums. Many Americans survive on less than what greedy insurance companies charge for premiums. In an immoral for profit health care system everyone loses!

There's a lot of fat to be trimmed from this beast. The biggest part is the uninsureds' health care costs borne by the insured and even Romneycare recognizes that it's got to go.

You must work for a medical 'insurance' company; because it was removed from their profit column. It will not affect care at all.

If you think it's expensive now just wait until Obamacare welcomes 20 million new freeloaders into the system. The types who will milk any and all welfare systems for all they can for generations. The malpractice lawyers must be salivating at the prospect of so many new customers.

Doctors, insurance companies and hospitals are just trying to stay in business. They provide a service that I personally want to be second to none. But soon a visit to the doctor will be much like a visit to the DMV. Those with the means will be flying to other countries for treatment. All of the liberal Hollywood elitists have been doing it for years.

I don't know if it is the biggest, but it is right up there.

A number of hospitals here went out of business, bankrupt, beause they could not transfer enough of their 'uninsured expenses' or losses, onto paying customers.

My new fear is that people from the backward states will come here, and apply for the higher quality care provided in the states that respect their citizens.
