Walk-in clinics are popping up in shopping malls and main streets across the United States and private equity is helping fund the expansion.
Well managed clinics can be a great and relatively inexpensive alternative to emergency rooms. The typical emergency room visit costs well over a grand while a clinic visit cost between $100 to $200.
