Considering a NEW Job

Northville, MI

#1 May 24, 2014
Hi, My name is Jim. I am writing in regards to my Son's health care situation. He is currently employed. He and his family have medical insurance through his workplace group plan by US Health and Life. He is considering an offer by another employer. The problem is that the prospective employer requires a 90-day wait period for his health insurance coverage. His wife is due to deliver in August and his new insurance would not kick in until sometime in September. Does he have any options, other than an outrageously expensive COBRA premium.
