According to a study by Towers Watson, the cost of providing medical care is going to continue to rise. Itís more important than ever for companies to remain on top of their cost trend. If you are an employer - do have a way to track your healthcare cost trend consistently? Or do you just have to react to a year-end cost increase?

Of course it rises every year especially when uninsured people are allowed to walk into the ER and stick the rest of us with the bill. Obamacare will require every citizen to take personal responsiblity for their health. Then, maybe then, health care costs will come under control.

I think the care in the ER myth is exactly that. Yes if life threatening conditions exist they must treat but the sniffles, booboos and tummy aches they do not. Patient abuse or non pay is A problem but the not THE problem. What the medical and insurance industries expect to be paid IS THE problem.
