Yes, itís true that smoking is bad for you and your teeth, breath and mouth. Itís not the actual smoking itself but smoking often causes Dry Mouth or Burning Tongue Syndrome. If your mouth is dry, that means that it isnít producing enough saliva. Saliva is very rich in oxygen with makes it difficult for the anaerobic bacteria to produce sulfur Ė which is what causes bad breath.

You can stop bad breath aka Smokerís Breath by drinking plenty of water (8 glasses) each day, taking vitamin C and using mouthwash without alcohol in it. The alcohol in mouthwash will just dry your mouth out more. Try chewing sugar-free gum that actually increases saliva production.
Thereís an article with more tips and details here: http://www.therabreath.com/art_drymouth.asp

-- To use the term "smoking" without any idea what kind of smoke, or that it may not even be smoke from tobacco plants, and that it's likely from pesticides, chlorine, adhesives, turpentine, shellac, untested additives galore and even radiation contaminated from still legal use of phosphate fertilizers is...well...a tad off target.

-- "Sugar free gum" ? Yikes! Search up terms "aspartame problems" or "Splenda problems" for some urgently-needed info.

- Funny how there's no call on various industries to try QUITTING putting some of the worst industrial substances on the planet into things they call "tobacco products". QUIT Adulterating Tobacco. QUIT Poisoning Smokers. Wouldn't that fit on a bumper sticker?

Check out http://fauxbacco.blogspot.com for more on this. It's best to have relevant info up one's sleeve.
