I don't have all of my thyroid test results in front of me, but those I do remember are as follows: TSH - 0.93 (range 0.50 to 5.00), and TT4 - 5.7 (range 4.00 to 12.00). I have a goiter on the right side and several very small nodules on the right side and one small goiter on the left side of thyroid. I am exhausted all of the time and suffer from anxiety. I have had thyroid checked over and over again and told everything is normal. One time an endocrinologist tried me on 25mcg of Synthroid and it cause extreme heart palps and more anxiety. Is it possible I could be suffering from very mild hypothyroidism and that I would need such a minute amount of Synthroid (e.g. 6.25mcg every other day), and could this mild hypothyroidism be causing my anxiety? I have recently started .5mg clonazepam daily for anxiety and it is not helping.

Any advice would be appreciated?

Google "Adrenal fatigue". From what I have read, Adrenal gland fatigue can also make a person tired all the time along with a bunch of other symptoms.

Hi! I have hypothyroidism. I am soon to have surgery. My tsh levels have ALWAYS all my life, been normal. I have been off and on medication since I was 10. I am now 35. Currently I am not taking any, because like you, I feel the same results with the synthroid. No matter how low the dose. My hypothyroidism is this: My thyroid works too hard---but yet hard enuf to produce the RIGHT amt of tsh/tt4 and hence, the medication to help it work not so hard and still produce right amount.
This year, i have stopepd because i was more tired on the medication. I have a 13mm nodule right smack dab on my isthmus, which is interfereing with my swollowing and breathing.
Will be meeting with surgeons next week to discuss removal of thyroid.
For anyone getting thyroid removal, I strongly suggest entire thyroid removed, because the thyroid left or right, can and will grow back. My sister has had 2 surgeries in where they only removed half and will undergo a 3rd one to remove the entire thyroid.
Me, I am doing the enitre thyroid. I do not want my thyroid growing back and having to undergo those biopsies all the time! I have quiet a few nodules, which is very normal for hypothyroidism.
Im doing surgery simpily because the nodule is bigger than the isthmus itself which ranges 1.3 to 6mm.
Yes, hypothyroidism does cause anxiety. My sister and I both have that. We learn to cope with it. We undergo bloodtests anywhere from every 3 months to 6 months to 1 year, depending on whether the levels stay the same and how we feel.

My partner was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism 5 months back with a TSH of 25. She was put on L-Thyroxin 75. Last month, the TSH was as low as 0.04. Doctor then adviced to reduce dosage to half a tablet alternate days. When checked again after 30 days the TSH was at 190. We totally confused with these results. The auto immumne test result came back as negative. Her symptoms include hair loss, tiredness and sever depression which I am really concerned about. Initially she gained about 4 kg in 4 months and it stayed there for almost a year now. She is not obese either. Any advice would be greatly helpful.

Thank you

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Libra

It's another day when tensions are rife and you feel stretched to breaking point. You might even totally lose your temper with someone, instead of merely snapping at them as you did yesterday. Mars stomps into reverse today, so it would be better to clear the air now with a row, and then forget all about it, rather than allowing bad feelings to accumulate and fester inside you.
