I have tried all prescribed and natural products to no avail. Tried eating super foods and cutting out all I shouldn't eat and drink but to no avail and was in agony nearly every week. Then the last throw of the dice was a Vitamin B complex with a high Folic acid content and bingo!!!!
I now eat whatever I want, drink alcohol and only drink water moderately and I haven't suffered an attack in months! I buy mine from Holland & Barrett, which is a health food shop in the UK. They are timed release and I swear by them. Hope this helps someone as much as it has helped me as I'm now pain free!!

Naturally treatments, like a lot of you, didn't work for me either. I practically had to beg my doctor to try something different after countless lifestyle changes and prescriptions pills. After months of agony, I told him either give me something different or euthanize me! Obviously, he chose the first option and got in touch with A&R Pharmacy in Missouri, a pharmacy specializing in topical pain relief. Yes, they sent me a topical gel that I simply apply to the pain and it takes care of the rest; no pills, no downtimes and no ridiculous doctor or pharmacy bills. Just pure and simple relief. I have been using it for three months now, and I'm finally getting back to my normal self, doing what I want when I want. I highly recommend you ask your doctor about this place if nothing else is working for you. They are super nice AND they will deliver.

I hope this reaches somebody in need today!

Gout is often seen in association with hypertension, excessive alcohol consumption and coronary artery disease, so alcohol is a strong risk factor for this disease.

In general, I believe alcohol should be reserved for people who have already achieved optimal wellness and therefore have their carbohydrates (sugars and grains) under control, and do not have disease conditions such as gout, diabetes, or other signs of ill health.

Although wine has been shown to have some health benefits, it may also increase your insulin levels, which is not only a risk factor for diabetes, but increased insulin levels have been linked with a shorter life span, in general. So it needs to be used cautiously, especially if you have gout.

Most importantly for those suffering with gout, alcohol may raise the levels of uric acid in your blood, and therefore could even initiate a gout attack, so itís wise to limit the alcohol you drink, or eliminate it altogether.

A natural cure for gout
Wash a few carrots and liquidise with some dates and fresh lemon juice, so that it looks like porridge. Have some in the morning and in the evening, and the gout will quickly disappear.

It is very common to hear people say that an apple a day will keep the doctor away. Especially when you have the problem of gout you must make it a habit to eat at least one apple daily. Experts suggest to eat an apple after each meal. The malic acid present in apples will help to neutralize the uric acid present in the body and will provide you soothing relief from gout pain and inflammation. In case you do not like to eat apple, then you can try apple juice. Along with apple it is also a good idea to eat raw carrots daily.

To get relief from gout pain, it is essential to alkalize the body and neutralize the excess uric acid present in blood stream. This can be easily done with the help of fresh lemon juice and baking soda. Take the juice of one whole lemon and mix it with half teaspoon of baking soda. Leave for a few seconds and then add one glass of water to it and drink immediately. Another option is to add the juice of half lemon to a glass of water and drink it three times a day. Along with lemon you must also eat other fruits rich in Vitamin C in order to strengthen the body tissues.

Hi

I found this site while searching for gout care in Cyprus. I was hoping to find a source of supply for my cousin who has a friend that suffers from gout. I experienced a severe attack of gout several years ago and received no help whatsoever from the medical profession. I done my own research and found an excellent website called www.goutcare.co.uk and never looked back.

I followed the recommendations for repealing the attack and was cured within the week. I continue to use the gout care tablets ( 2 a day) and have not experienced an attack since.

A gout attack particularly if it effects the big toe has to be the most painful episode that the body experiences. I spent 4 days in bed as my foot was swollen to the extent that I could not wear a shoe and walking was extremely painful.

I test myself regularly for uric acid levels using the meter which is simple to use.

Gout is a kind of arthritis. It is good that water to certain extent can help to reduce pain but you can also seek acupuncture treatment which would help to reduce stiffness to some extent. It helps to increase blood flow and energy to the body.
