Poultry fingered as No. 1 food poisoning culprit
#3 Aug 12, 2010
This is either a lousy report by the CDC or a lousy reporting job by the PT. If poultry, beef and leafy vegetables account for 47% of the reported food bourne illnesses, what accounts for the rest and majority? If the report only represents a fraction of US food bourne illnesses, what about the rest and why even report the fraction? The headline only makes the story even worse when poultry is only one percentage point worse than beef and leafy vegetables only three less. This information is not only not helpful it is misleading. If my arithmetic is bad or I have misread read the story, I will aplogize.

All Convicted Violent Felons should be feed poulty, beef and vegtables! This might make moot captial punishment! Food borne virus could be a safe and humame way to kill the scum of the earth!

That is such a poor choice of words on so many levels... I am repeatedly amazed at the cruddy writing that passes for journalism these days...
