Visiting the dentist is tough, no matter the age

Adults who have trouble going to the dentist have nothing on some children who won't even open their mouths for what is often a painless exam -- except to scream.

So glad for this program!!! And for the caring dentist who provide the exam. There are some dentists in the Woodland/yolo co. area that refuse to treat children if they do not cooperate. As we all know some people, including children fear dentists......

Fluoride is not a varnish or a sealant,it is a poison more toxic then lead. I would not let a squirmish child have the treatment for fear they would swallow it.There have been at least one death that I know of from a child who swallowed instead of spitting the rinse out.

The fluoride used in the SEALANT is NOT toxic in small amounts. Read the following link for more information, or just go to Wikipedia.com and research fluoride.

I would first read the facts about fluoride varnish before making an opinion to the public.
