David is my nephew. This has left us all totally shocked. We must believe in God's plan for everyone and everything. This is hard and does test our faith.

My Uncle David is a strong and wonderful man who would do anything for anyone and has a heart of gold. The last four months have been very hard for him and our family, but we are making it through with the support of each other and family friends.
Bennnett's Garage has been in our family for over 51 years and this is the first time it has ever been closed. Grandpa and Uncle David never turned anyone away and always tried to help people no matter if they were able to pay full price or were penny less and wanted to barter or trade.
Please pray that David is comfortable and surrounded by loved ones in his final days. Thank you to the City of Reynoldburg for their wonderful support of the Bennett Family over the last 51 years and for your continued support and prayers as David continues his courageous battle with cancer.
Thank You ~

David's Dad and my Dad were best friends all of my life. I have always known David and the Bennett family as family. I wanted to let you all know that I am very sorry for your loss and can now only imagine the partying going on in heaven with so many of the Bennett's Garage Angels up there.
Buck, Gary, David, my Dad John Hazy, my Uncle Michael Hazy, Bill Eckman, Luke Murrey, Paul Glowa, and so many I don't remember the names of. I know all to well how loosing your Dad is hard to deal with. July 3rd will be 9 years already, but it hurts like yesterday. My heart goes out to you girls. I know my Dad is closer to me now than ever before, and he is a part of everything I do. I just really miss seeing him. You'll deal with your loss because you have no choice, the days, months and years will fly by just as it always has. Keep him close in your heart and he'll always be there and you will see him again one day sooner than you realize. I'm sorry I will not be able to be there, but my thoughts and prayers are there with you. Take care.
