I've recently got back into a relationship after a year on hiatus from girls, during which porn was a pretty constant companion.
I've got so used to the hyper-sexual set-ups of porn that normal sexual encounters don't actually do much for me anymore... I've even heard myself say that "I didn't feel like it", when in my head I was dying for it. Alas, when the mind is willing, but the flesh is not.
Now I'm not up for popping pills, not least for their incredible price, so I'm pretty sure re-sensitizing yourself to normal sexual situations is the key.
As people have said before, this thread is a beacon of hope to ED sufferers. I was getting seriously depressed before I stumbled upon this thread. Seems there's hope after all.

Do not torture yourself.
Try to find articles about ED. If he has an ED, he must talk to the doctor. Talk to him and try to help him. Tell him about herbal ED pills. It may help.
If he refuses to talk, cooperate... well... You have your life to live. You don't need that kind of guy in your life.

I am 25 and still a virgin, for religious reasons. I started masturbating and looking at porn in my early teens(which I'm also not suppose to be doing), however I managed to recently quit porn and masturbation completely for 3 months. When I did finally masturbate again and look at porn I found myself having long-lasting,hard 'healthy' erections...but of course that didn't last long because I had a bad patch in my life after that and turned to regular porn and masturbation again and sure enough a couple months down the line my erections and masturbation do not seem 'strong' AT ALL. I am still a young virgin and even I can see clear links between porn and degrading sexual health...and thats not even getting onto the guilt and the 'desensitized conscience' that one gets from watching this stuff.

I don't know all the scientific reasons as to exactly why it has this affect on humans, but I can tell you now that god warns against it in the bible...he says 'flee from porneia'...and when he gives such a finite instruction it's always for a VERY good reason, often there are more reasons than we are even aware of for such a command. I dont want to preach to anyone...

I'm just pointing out that even from a biblical point of view, porn is not something you wanna involve yourself with...now I must conquer this arch-enemy of mine once and for all!
