I have suffered from frontal lobe seizures since I was 15 and have been on Carabamezapine this entire time(now 20 years) and have tried lamictal and in the past and am today taking keppra, and topirimate. I still suffer the odd seizure atleast once a month. The headaches are not so frequent but the drowsiness can be overwheleming from time to time. Is this a healthy combination and good result? I usually have only partail seizures today.

topamax, iagree that i feel i have lost a lot of brain cells since taking topamax and dilantin but i rarely have seizures anymore and can work partime now.my doc told me that i have to concentrate harder to do the same things that used to come easily.i read constantly to fill the void that conversation used to replace.

i have been on topamax for a couple of years now and it works as well as any meds i have tried.i take dilantin as well at night. my seizures are rare now and not so intense when i do have one.stress and fighting against the diagnosis will cause more side affects i found.i was in my forties when i started fitting.i didnt like the name Epileptic.accept and you will find the side affects will settle down.good luck.deb

Diva.It will never be easy to have epilepsy and i didnt mean to set myself up as an expert.we have both had our fill of those!but i wish you all the best.i still find it hard to get work as a cleaner of all things!bosses act like i have a mental disorder and will start doing handstands or something?my brain is still there and still quite active but my words often come out wrong and i get worse trying not to stumble over what i wish to say.so self confidence is the key!and a little finger in the air doesnt hurt either%%

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Capricorn

You're dashing around in several directions at once today because you're gripped by the burning desire to get things done. You're in a tearing hurry, and the problem is that this could make you rather irritable if things don't go the way you want or people don't jump to it. You might also be feeling angry with a friend, even if you can't put your finger on what's wrong.
