Types of Epilepsy

There are actually many types of epilepsy and many of them have to be treated differently for best results. Doctors usually use a one of two classification systems for defining the different types of epilepsy. Here is some good information on the subject.

Yes. good info. Also even with the same type of sz. it never ceases to amaze or interest me how many variations of symptoms different people have.
Also how over a course of time our bodies/brains may change & one type of sz. being the "dominant" or more noticeable one.
Also the triggers change & with meds. maybe the type of sz. changes too. I have seen this in myself over 20 yrs. & talked to hundreds of people who all agree.
It is fascinating to me. Rick
