Hi,I've had endo for 3 years and right now do not have health insurance and won't for another 6 months and was wondering if anyone else has had this happen or if I should be worried about this. For the past 6 months off and on I have had blood in my stool. Latley its been blood and mucus. My doctor last time I went(over 6 months ago) told me that sometimes the endo is on your intestins so it could cause stomach craps and constipation/Diarrhea
But now I have boughts of both of those off and on with the blood (which is not dark more light to med. red) and lots of mucus. Anyways I know this is not the most pleasent of subjects but could really use some advice. Thanks

Hi.. hope this helps.

I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis less than a month ago when I began suffering intense pain. After surgery to remove a large mass(which has put me in recovery for 6 weeks) my doctor told me that the pain I experienced while excretion during my periods was due to the tissue build up inside my abdomen. I had a large mass that pushed all of my organs against each other, causing me great pain when going to the bathroom. Now I'm not saying you have a large mass, so don't sweat, but something similar could be the reason why you're suffering. Try going to a clinic, or a government owned hospital where insurance isn't necessary. Feel better.

I have problems using the bathroom due to my endometriosis. I have had cysts, and I've been told I have a mass on my ovary at the present moment. We are waiting a while to see what it could be- I go for an ultrasound on June 13th. However, I had severe rectal problems before my first surgery and I was told that endometriosis that is in the back of the uterus, between it and your rectum can cause these problems (That's where mine was. Funny enough, after my surgery when I was still doped up I kept saying, "I'll be able to poop again!!" quite happily.) You may have fissure(sp?), which could cause the mucus and the blood. I had the same issue once, and they said I was straining so hard that I caused a small tear. Explain to a doctor what's going on and have them do a physical exam.

Best of luck!!! I know it's frustrating!!!

If I recall dark blood is the one my gastro dr wanted to hear about. i have endo (2 laparscopies) and IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). the mucus my gastro dr was not concerned about for me.i hope this helps. endo is not easy. IBS is no walk in the park either

i've had severe cramping with orgasms where i couldn't even get up to get my pills.

now with orgasms, i have severe abdominal pressure (not like cramping), nausea and sweating and then i have a bowel movement. every time.

i have had two laparoscopies for endo; stage III both times. lupron injections helped with pain; bowel movement thingy just started approx 8 months ago.

i live near cleveland ohio and wonder if they have a program like this here.

I have been suffering from endo for 15 years now... had 6 laparoscopies, had two miracle babies which was supposed to apparently help and/or even stop the endometriosis only to find out it upped me to a stage IV so I had to undergo an emergency hystorectomy at the age of 24. we thought it was all over but the endo stuck to my overies, so two years after hyst had to go in for ovarectomy. I am now 31 and have recently found out that the endo is attacking my bladder and my lower intestine which is causing me severe pain. I'm not sure if anyone else has lived through anything similar, but it would be nice to hear that I am not alone dealing with this. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice and maybe a little heads up on what I am facing here.
