Look, I am completely suspicious of "herbal" remedies, basically because one cannot be sure what is in them. That being said, a friend ordered the soups from Wei for me to treat my recently diagnosed COPD. I have consumed the mixtures for 7 days. I am feeling better than when I had my first drastic short of breath incident (when I was diagnosed), but I have no idea if that is due to the Soups A and B, or is just because those days have passed since my incident. I wish I knew if this stuff was working.

Anyone diagnosed with emphysema / COPD owes it to themselves to read the new book by Robert Green Jr., N.D. titled Emphysema and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease - Therapeutic Approaches Through: Nutrition, Natural Medicine, Alternative Medicine. In this defining and seminal work, Robert Green Jr., N.D. presents the first book ever to take an in depth look at the therapeutic approaches based on nutrition, natural medicine, and alternative medicine that are capable of improving the health and condition of people living with emphysema/COPD. This book, written primarily for individuals who have been diagnosed by a physician with emphysema or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, contains the vital information on natural and alternative therapeutics that you and your physician need to know. Please visit http://www.emphysemabook.net
Here are some reviews of the book: May 17, 2006 A must read!! As a Holistic Practitioner/Naturopath, I thought the book was extremely informative. Anyone who is in the Natural Health field should own a copy of this book for their practice to help those clients who are in desperate need and have found no relief with traditonal medicine. I feel all who read this will find both hope and help. Sharon Satterfield ND May 16, 2006 Useful information for COPD and Emphysema patients. This book has information vital for the pulmonary patient. Feedback from those who are following the guidelines has been positive, and many more could benefit from the steps listed that can actually result in improvement of symptoms and the underlying condition as well. Larry, A reviewer May 5, 2006 Well written with substantial and accurate scientific evidence...there is a demand for such information by those suffering from COPD, and their families. My hope is that medical caregivers become enlightened, as well, with this book. Robert F. Waters, Ph.D. Professor of Medical Biochemistry and Genetics September, 2005 Editorial Review From the outset I have felt that this book is a potential bestseller. It is a landmark book because it explores a specific topic not yet treated before in the way or from the perspective it takes. In a very real sense it’s a history making effort. I can say positively that the book exhibits an intelligent balance of intended readership between the lay person and the health professional. I truly expect it to be much appreciated by both an average reader (such as an interested patient or patient’s relative or friend) and a trained professional (to include even one not directly involved in naturopathy). I say this because the book is chockfull of very useful practical information for an individual affected by emphysema or COPD, and, at the same time, it contains an abundance of data that an analytical health professional will find very instructive, reassuring, and edifying. Throughout the editorial process, my impression was “Here’s an authoritative book that a family will want to own for constantly available reference, and once they have it, they will be more than happy to share it with others and with their family doctor and doctor friends, who in turn will hurry to get a copy of their own.” To a lay reader like myself, the great majority of the book is a real eye opener -- especially the discussions on diet, nutritional supplements, and herbal medicine. And the technical parts are a source of comfort in the fact that the author definitely knows what he is talking about. The book is well written and the presentation is very systematic. The progression of chapters and individual topics is logical. It’s very evident that this is a major work that is painstakingly organized and presented. Has anyone tried the Wei lab soups for COPD???
I need to know because I want my father to try this treatment for a month but the cost is about 1000 usd, yea only for a month. Please if someone has a comment please let me know! |
||||
I just started one week ago with the two soups and the Balancer and as skeptical as I was when I ordered them, today I can say I notice a difference and hope it continues to work and improve my condition. My shortness of breath is not so acute. |
||||
|
I tried soup A for two weeks. After using it for about 1 week I felt that I could breathe much more normally. This effect lasted for another week after I stopped using it. I was told by their rep. I must use it for a min. of 1 month (which I did not, due to the expense). If i could afford to I would try it again for the full month (as I believe it was just starting to be effective when I ran out).

What is that all about this
www.emphysemabook.net ??? Once again a link to hundreds of links to rip off sick people. It makes me more sick than I am already. I suffer from severe COPD and I will try the stuff from Wei Lab as soon ASAP. What have I got to lose. I'll try soup A and B and all that stuff they got to offer. It can't get worse. If it gets worse I'm dead anyway. If it gets better, I'll let you know. Mike |

Yes, I have severe COPD. To those who are considering the use of SoupA and SoupB from Wei Labs, I can tell you that it really works. My breathing has improved, before and after surgery. You just have to be consistent(ask for Steve). Also, I had Lung reduction surgery 2 years ago, which removed the diseased portion (40% of my lung). Dr. Mark Ginsberg at NY Columbia Presbyterian Hosp performed the surgery -he's the best, he happens to be the pioneer in this type of surgery (LVRS). Although, I still rely on Oxygen occasionally when exercising which helps to expand my lung function and use a portable nebulizer when walking longer distances and have those moments of huffing and puffing when I try to do too much, these treatments and processes have improved my life considerably. So, hang in there!

I am on a limited income but I managed to save up and get this. Figured if it helped then I am worth it. lol anyway I can tell you in three days I see a difference. I have severe COPD, I am on oxygen 24-7. but I can tell you I think we finally got on to something wonderful here. And think of the money it will save you in the long run for doctors, hospitals and not to even mention medicene.I am taking the soup A,Soup B, and the LC balancer, and oh lord is it nasty. lol but I have found that V8 juice taken after each dose helps really good to get rid of taste. that is if you like v8,which I do. also let me add this one of the best medicenes to go along with this is a good positive attitude... even if you have to fake it till you make it. god bless.

Betty,
Now that is been a month have you seen improvement? I have Mod. to Severe COPD and would like to try the soups. I quit smoking four months ago and I have seen a tremendous improvement in physical stamina just by blowing up balloons 20 times per day. It really helps with lung and diaphram strength. |

I ask Soup A Soup B & Balancer from Wei Labs for a friend, he is about to start the treatment, I will keep you posted with results. If you are a COPD sufferer I recomend NAC N-Acetyl Cysteine 600 mg. a day (a Glutathion precursor it means that lung cells are better protected and also serves as a mucolytic), Vitamin C 2000 mg/day,promotes the continue synthesis of Glutathion, B Complex, helps in the transformation of homocysteine into cysteine for the continuous production of Glutathion.Drink vegetable juices specially from brocholi and spinach
2 or 3 times a day. Remember that COPD is a higly oxidative disease of the lungs (complicated with phlegm and asthma) so take lots of antioxidants to counteract the effect, like vitamins and vegetables. It will help with the inflammation and will also reduce phlegm. Do not forget NAC it will help keep you infection free and offer antioxidant protection to your lung cells. velajorge@hotmail.com |

If you`ve had bronchial inflammation and phlegm for a long time due to bronchial asthma, enphisema or some other respiratory disease, COPD or otherwise. I think you should try this new treatment I found in the internet, I tried it myself and two other people with lung diseases like the ones I mention before and works better than any other treatment they have tried before. It is called Hidrogen Peroxide Therapy, yeah! you guess well, the same one you find at the drugstore. Take one of those bottles use to spray salted water into the nose, empty it and wash it with bottled water. put some hidrogen peroxide at 3% just like the one you find at the store, make shure it is made only with hp and acetalinide, spray in your mouth pointed to your troath as you breath in some air, in order to take it to your lungs, just as you do with salbutamol or combivent. Repite 5 times 4 times a day and you will see the difference in a day or two. Some people have been using this for years and have no had any negative effects. Look it up and you`ll see how effective this is. Jorge Velarde, Puebla, Mexico. velajorge@hotmail.com

My mother suffers from pilmonary fibrosis for 5 years now. She is taking Soups A and B and LC balancer for a month; but did notice a declaine in last week or so; more acute shortness in breath, too. Did anyone experience decline, or have any suggestion? We are quite desperate, those herbs were our last hope...

I am in the process of considering purchasing soup A and LC balancer for my father who has COPD, I have read the previous postings but would be grateful for any updates from people who have recently been taking this 'remedy'. Being in the UK we also have the cost of international shipping and whilst I would spend anything to make dad feel better, I don't want to throw money away. All replies appreicated, thanks
