Just got diagnosed with atopic dermatitis ?

I;m not sure what it is, but I know its a form of eczema. I went to 3 dermatologist and one in which was a specialist. The first said it was an allergic reaction and the second and third said it was atopic.
Here;s the problem, my friend from africa gave me some lotion and I tried it because her skin was so beautiful and it was mainly olive oil in the ingredient and when i applied it my skin broke out and was itching really bad and left hyper pigmentation all over. This a year ago and my skin only itched two times since then. When my skin got better and I tested myself and applied the oil from my friend it broke out again. I looked at the pictures and i don't want my skin to ever look like that. He says it mild to moderate and will get worse. I'm 22 and haven't had skin issues since then. I only have sensitive skin. any thoughts?
Hi there, this could definitely be atopic dermatitis, which the affected areas of your skin can become inflamed and very itchy. If you scratch it, it could lead to swelling, redness, cracking, scaling, etc.
With atopic dermatitis, and most eczema's this inflamed reaction can happen due to something in that cream or something different that is irritating your skin causing this to happen.
I attached a link for you if you would like to know how to help with this and which creams would be better for you to use :)
