I've had this condition on my hands for months now and the drs keep prescribing me canestan and cortizone topical treatments which aren't helping.

I have small but a lot of puss filled bubbles on my hands which are starting to get worse. Here's a picture on te link, any ideas / help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Matthew,
I have severe hand dermatitis as well, my hands started out looking like yours. They got worse to the point where I had to quit my job. You might want to get a patch test and see what, if that reveals what your allergen or allergens might be. I used every topical cream-steroid known to man, as well as eastern medicine treatments. I had to eventually get a steroid shot to slow down the ezcema. It worked. My hands did clear up and my skin had a chance to recover, It gave me peace of mind for a little while. However there are side effects so it should be done only in severe cases. I have changed my diet to a lot greens, fresh fruits and veggies. I drink water all day. I use a fragrance and paraben free soap and make sure my hands are never without lotion and I seem to be maintaining it ok. You will have to find what works for you best It took me about 1.5 years to get it under control I still have flare ups but they have not been as bad. Good Luck with everything

We produce a nettle range of products nettle soap nettle moisturiser and nettle body wash. It may be worth thinking about. They do not work for eveybody( one a year is allergic to nettle soap) and it is not a cure but include them in your thinking on a way forward from where you are just now.

Matthew,
I have suffered from severe eczema on my hands for over 10 yrs now. I went to doctors and dermatologists and was prescribed the steroidal creams and had doctors recommending different types of lotions to use and nothing seemed to work. My hands were so bad that I actually had a co-worker ask me if I had burned the palm of my hand. Several yrs ago a friend of mine, whose sister is a massage therapist, suggested I try Natures Gate lotion. I have been using Natures Gate now for about 5 yrs and my right hand is totally healed. I still have a small patch of eczema in the center of my left hand, but it is just dry and I don't get the bubbles anymore. I use the lotion religiously. Immediately after showers or having hands in water and I will apply lotion several times after showers and at times I have applied it liberally and let it soak into my hands. When I lived in Oregon, I could find this lotion at Fred Meyer and another grocery outlet. I am in Nebraska now and I have to go to a natural food store to get this lotion. I was told by someone once that I should avoid any lotion with mineral oil. I don't know how true that is, but ever since I started using 100% natural lotions, my eczema has drastically improved. I am no longer embarrassed by my hands! Good luck!
