Light therapy for eczema

Hi everyone (:
My names Jodie, I'm 20 years old. I have suffered from chronic atopic eczema for 18 years, it's only seemed to worsen with age.
Recently I saw a dermatologist (for once one who seemed to know his stuff) who put me forward for light therapy. Has this worked for anyone?
My skin is maybe the biggest bane in my life, I am now in a state where I cannot work or socialise like a normal young adult should. I just want to know if this has helped anyone else?

Yes my dermatologist told me the same thing . I went occasionally last year during a bad flair up and it helped a lot.
