Surprising band-aid remedy

I have recurrent eczema spots on my hands and elsewhere, particularly in the winter. The only thing helpful so far has been steroids, which I hate using because they thin my skin. I have a particularly bad spot on my inner thumb which cracks painfully so I cover it with band-aids to protect it. On Monday I tried a new band-aid by Elastoplast, called "Invisible Protection", advertised as feeling like a second skin. The strip was hard to put on, with two stages, but was waterproof. When I took it off two days later my thumb was 75% better! After two more days it was completely healed, with only a pink spot remaining! I'm now working on my other spots and wonder if any of you are aware of this product.
