This story is garbage. It is totally untrue and is counter to multiple double blind and retrospective studies that clearly show a reduction in drug dependence in those who treat their ADHD with stimulant medication. If I recall there is a 40% reduction in the likelihood of drug dependence.

Logic dictates this is true. ADHD often results in impulse control disorders or impulsivity. Using street drugs is impulsive. If your impulsivity is under control via a stimulant your less likely to try and become dependent.

Strattera from http://adhd-generic.info works great. I am able to focus and am able to do more tasks at once, which my job requires. I am now able to sit down for more than 10 minutes at a time and read, write, and study for my college classes. The only thing that bothers me is that I sometimes forget to take my dose of medication. Other than this instance, I am able to function better as a person!
