Great fighter, sounds like he was a great family man too..
Citz, thank you for your comment. Yes, my daddy was a "Great Fighter"...and as far as a Great family man...his addiction to alcohol kept him from fulfilling that purpose in life...but I will fulfill what he could not,by being there for him,and keeping my word not to ever let him rot and die in a downtown L.A. convelescent home, as Gilbert Ortega his conservator and fake friend is hoping for. My daddy does not know that he is in a convelescent home...Gilbert tells him he only has to stay 5 more days then return to the docks to the Casual Hall...6 years of the same lie!!! Pray for me...It will take a divine act of God to bring my daddy home. An order not to tall for God!

hi Rebekah....why are you not the legal guardian of your father? Why is Gilber Ortega not allowing you to take him home??? That doesn't seem right.

Mando Jr.,
I knew your father, we called him "El Guapo." Your father was my boxing coach at the Wilmington Teen Center. The boxing club was named "B.A.A.D.," boxing against alcohol and drugs. In the late 80's, early 90's, we fought everywhere. I am now a coach, at the same gym. We had good times together. Sorry to hear of your lost. God Bless you, your family, and "El Guapo." The Champ! My heart goes out to the Ramos family. Mando was best friends with my daddy who is the former "FEATHERWEIGHT CHAMPION RAUL ROJAS" also inducted in the boxing hall of March 2004. Mando saved my fathers life in Wilmington ca ..when my father was beat down by drugs and alcohol. Mando had a compassionate heart and a love for my father like a brother. He helped to place my father Raul Rojas in several sober programs over the past 20 years. In 1984 I was living with my father in wilmington ca. where my father Raul Rojas worked as a longshoreman as did Mando . I admitted to Mando I was experimenting with crack cocaine..something I denied to my very own father..and Mando inspired me to attend an A.A meeting, and to seek a "Higher Power"...it took many years for me to find that High Power..today I rest assured that Mando Ramos in is the loving arms of our "Heavenly Father", and that all things are made beautiful in its time.

Wow, what a small world. My dad "Palmer" used to party with your dad, Billy Rutdlege and your uncle Tuti. Dad passed away in 94 without ever making it into "the rooms", but I'm sober as well as my mom "Maggie".

According to Moshen Zargar Back pain has many causes that can be cured with the help of Chiropractic these causes maybe a muscle sprain in the back because of weak back muscles and lifting of heavy loads. Ligament injury is yet another cause of back pain that maybe caused by an injury or chronic muscle pain. Arthritis of Spinal joints maybe another cause of back pain that keeps a patient confined to bed. Moshen Zargar has made it possible with his years of experience and the knowledge he has gained to cure such patients and make their life normal.

Where in San Pedro did Mando Ramos live and die? What was the address? Fans should know to drive by and say, hey Mondo, we remember you.
