I hope posting items for sale is permitted on this forum.

I am selling a Dexcom 7 Plus Continuous Glucose Monitoring System. I only used for one month and it was purchased 3 months ago. All items in mint condition. Includes full kit plus 3 sensors (exp. 9/09). Includes all original packaging and manuals. I decided to go with a competitors product which integrates with my pump and I would like to recoup some of my out of pocket expenses for this unit. Sensors have a $200 value themselves.

Please email me at david@silverware.com

have a Dexcom 7 system that was purchased in 2007. It was used for a couple of weeks and then shelved.

Includes the:
Seven Transmitter,
Seven Receiver,
Dexcom2 DM Software and Data cable,
Belt clip/case,
4 sensors that expired in 2008.

The system needs a Receiver Charging Cable (MT 9795 -$25)

Also, there is a OneTouch Ultra Meter in the package.

New the system went for $800 and a package of 4 sensors sold for $240

Make an offer!

Details about the system:

The DexCom™ STS™ Continuous Glucose Monitoring System is a patient insertable short-term sensor that is inserted via the DexCom™ STS™ Applicator by the user or clinician just under the skin where it is held in place by an adhesive to the skin. Once inserted the user would wear the DexCom™ STS™ sensor for up to three days before being replaced. After three days, the patient simply removes the sensor from the skin and discards it. A new sensor can then be used with the same receiver.

Two scientific abstracts showing short-term data from DexCom human clinical trials were accepted into the poster sessions at the 2005 American Diabetes Association annual meeting. The first was a Randomized Controlled Study of a Transcutaneous Real-Time Continuous Sensor. The study demonstrated statistically significant improvements in glycemic profiles with the use of the short-term system with no guidance or therapeutic adjustments from physicians. The second was the results from an unblinded feasibility study of a short-term continuous glucose sensor in subjects with type 1 diabetes which summarized accuracy and effectiveness of the short-term sensor.

DexCom filed an application for premarket approval, or PMA, with the Food and Drug Administration, or FDA, for the short-term system in March 2005. Premarket approval is the FDA process of scientific and regulatory review to evaluate the safety and efficacy of medical devices. The PMA was accepted as filed and granted expedited review status in May 2005.

How much are you asking for the CGM? I have worn mine for 5 years but the battery is failing now and there is no way it can be replaced as far as I know. I have to pay out of pocket, medicare does not cover it. I wouldn`t use out of date sensors though.I would need documentation that you actually got the monitor three months ago. It puzzles me that the sensors expired in 2009.

Are you still looking to sell your sensors? Since they are out of date I would be looking for "bottom BEST" offer. Tracball@twc.com
