I have had type 2 diabetes for 17 years. Ever time I go to Ukraine my symptoms are gone from diabetes in about 2 weeks and I can stop taking medicine for diabetes. My sugar levels return to normal as long as I am living in Ukraine.
My symptoms always return in about 1 month after I return to America. I have been to Ukraine 15 times so I know it is not a fluke. If anyone is interested in my story, please post your message and your e mail and i will respond to you. Larry |

This is a very personal story and cause for me as i am a Type 1 diabetic. In america, people no longer really die from the disease. However, with the costs of healthcare in america there are too many diabetics who can not afford their insulin for a variety of issues, whether that be no healthcare insurance, or copay to high. This disease is very manageable with the proper medications prescribed by a persons doctor. Without the medications is what leads to other medical issues that in the end lead to death of so many. We can do so much during those hard times for the people who need it. Some of the companies out there have programs to provide insulin to those in need, but the reality is that it is a 6-8 week turnaround time once a person signs up and that is too long. Diabetes is a killer, but we don't have to let it be, we can all do our part. I want those in our community to become educated about the disease. I ask all of you to post pics on our facebook page and post your stories and comments. I ask those of you who have $5 or $10 extra to make a donation so that we may help as many as possible. I ask all of you to spread the word about our facebook page and have those in need email us and with donated funds we will be able to purchase those much needed meds for them. We have no affilation with any of the groups or pharmacuticals out there, this is about those of us in america who have one of the most manageable diseases today. Lets' all talk about this, because the time for being quiet is done. Thanks and look forward to hearing from you. As a side note, i would like to state that 90% of all donated funds will be used for insulin and diabetic related medicines.
http://www.gofundme.com/23qw9c distribution of funds: no funds raised will be sent to individuals. once they have emailed a request to us, we will work with the local pharmacy they are using and payment for said prescriptions will be paid by the fund to the pharmacy directly. |
