Morning
I've had extreamly bad dermatisis on my face since Dec 11. Its terribly itchy, sore, blistery. It is on the whole of my nose and top lip, this is the worst part. I had a dry patch about 3" long down side of my face and my eyes are often affected.
Dr as given me cream after cream. I've had antibiotics, Steriods, creams....Adter using a new cream for about a week, I see an improvement then it stops working. Sick to death of people looking and staring at me now, it depresses the hell out of me! Is there a natural remedy which may help me? Can anyone help? x

Hi everybody,Ive had atopic dermatitis for almost 2 years.I was getting sick of using very toxic cortisone creams that dont work that well in the first place. So i went to a homeopathic doctor who informed me that any deramtitis is a result of the liver not functioning properly.I started using castor oil hot packs on the right side of my abdomen where my liver is, here is the link for instrustions{http://www.cayce. com/castoroil.htm}This with a combination of evening primrose oil capsules before every meal and pure aloe gel as a replacement for the steroid creams has completely solved the problem. All 100% natural but i give most credit to the castor oil which in itself is a miracle cure all.Hope u find this helpful.
God Bless

Hi there!

As I have the same problem, I would like to recommend you the following blog. It is written by one patient who has been suffering from atopic eczema for 25 years, has tried thousands of treatments and now he is in a good condition.

You can find here many useful informations, even how to shower and bath yourself, sth about sunbeds, vaccines, creams, and others.. The best thing on it is, that there are no commercials, so it is based on true and real life. So take a look and good luck :)

Yes there is a natural remedy.Try finding a local accupuncture centre that specializes in tradional chinese medicine.Lots of times skin conditions occur due to imbalance internally. The herbs they offer will restore balance and they also have amazing creams that are completely natural and work better than cortisone cream.I had a dermatologist diagnose me with Psoriasis(which is apparently uncureable in the world of dermatology).Within 2 days of accupuncture treatment my condition was gone.hopefully this will help you.Take care!

Atopic dermatitis can be a pain in the butt to deal with, but there are some natural remedies or medicines you can use to help deal with this such as:
- first of all if you know the triggers, try and stay away from what makes your eczema flare up if possible.
- use a corticosteroid cream
- possible change in diet
- keep skin hydrated and moisturize with creams and oils that are more organic like aloe vera, etc.

Hi Julie,My best suggestion for you would be to go see a naturopathic doctor. Most likely there is something in your diet that body is having trouble digesting. For me it was grains,as soon as I stopped eating them symptoms stopped with in two days.As far as effective natural creams go there arnt many. But this one worked for me google:999 itch relief treatment. Its a chinese cream my accupucturist gave me.Hope this helps you!
