Rockwall ISD has been taking action. There is an article on one of the news stations and it states there were only 7 people who attended the last suicide event. Parents can say there aren't signs, but there are. Parents choose not to notice them. There are signs in social media, conversations with friends and family and everywhere. If people want to help the kids, stop acting like there was no signs to be seen. This confuses the kids to hear the adults say, they are just clueless. It is tragic, but prevent another tragedy by saying there were signs, but I didn't see it at the time, but I do now. If you keep doing and saying the same thing over and over the results will not change. Change consists of acknowledging the mistakes and doing things differently. This is for every parent to stop acting deaf, dumb and blind. You can't change what you don't acknowledge.

It is tragic...my comments are general..not directed to the abovementioned girls.
Parents: put away your social media..spend time with your kids..talk to them, play with them, teach them, motivate them, punish them, reprimand them, encourage them, and love them. Parents: put away your social media, your kids will benefit, you will benefit, and maybe we can put some of the problems to rest that weren't there 20 or 30 years ago..we all have been bullied, we all have had broken relationships, we all have had losses...but we all managed to cope..one big difference...NO SOCIAL MEDIA. And I say again..parents: put away your social media..you may help save a life, or two.

Two more suicides in 14 days in Rockwall. When is this town going to step up and stop sweeping everything under the carpet? This isn't Old Rockwall anymore. There are real problems and issues in this town and a lot of people are ignoring it. Wake up Rockwall.

Many parents are looking into homeschooling and enrolling in Christian schools, makes sense.... at least the student / teacher ratio is much smaller....
