Depression: it's something teens hear about all too often. Our generation has grown up in a society that has generally been labeled as "unhappy," and now, as we are growing into adults, it is something we are all starting to experience.

Depression among the adolescents are often mistaken as moodiness and rebelliousness. Parents and teachers are asked to be more vigilant on looking out for symptoms of depression to prevent complications in the future. Proper communication and dialogue in the family may help prevent it.
