The quality of the treatment that we get for our depression is largely dependant on where we live with some towns having great follow up care and other places like big cities having far too many patients to ever care individuaally for anyone.
I was lucky to move to a small town where the help is first class and brilliant excellent ttherapy and care. You also need to get your loved ones to go with you so the doctor's know how serious the issue is to all of you.

I've been on Effexor from http://goo.gl/3FuqC7 only one week but am cautiously very optimistic. Prior to this I was on citalopram but still feeling very low and sleeping poorly, feeling like I needed to be in bed 12-16 hours a day. Now I am waking naturally after only 8 hours sleep and finding it much easier to concentrate at work. I can hardly believe it is working so quickly but I feel so much better. I've had no side effects.

The crucial importance of treating depression is to recognize the hoarse manure being spread by the Pharmaceutical and Mental Health Industry on the public.

The more the underground waters become polluted by the human discharge of these toxic mind drugs the more chemical reactions will happen to those drinking and bathing with the underground waters. The industries know this and depend on the pollution for furthering their profits and political goals. The polluted waters can be isolated to selected areas meaning that there could be political reasons for mind drugging including with Statin drugs for memory loss those living in unpopular, less wealthy, against a proposal voting areas.

There is no cure for the irratic thinking and thoughts generated by the chemically induced mind drugs given to you. There is no science to psychiatry. There is no medical model. There is no evidence based medicine . There is no test and never has been for a chemical imbalance of the brain.

The facts point that you and your child are in danger from the mental health industry. The nursing staff of any mental health hospital should be monitored and the parents should be alerted to the danger the child may suffer from beatings, rapes, and unpleasant situation. Prepare to defend your child with a lawyer (if you can find one) who is not invested in the stocks of the hospital of behavioral centers springing up around america. The judge may also be Republican ALEC.

No science to psychiatry. No medical model. No evidence based medicine. No test for chemical imbalance of the brain. Do away with false diagnoses leading to prescribed mind drugs. Psychiatry "No Science"

All children at one time or another will feel sympathetic feels toward themselves and state they may want to harm themselves. The parasites of the mental health industry will at that time distroy the youth of the child based on the casual statement by mind drugging and subjecting the child to the horror of the mental health industry and the nursing staff of any mental hospital.

Prepare to defend your child (legally ) if you can't find an attorney to represent you in this lucrative investment field of behavior modification.

The dirty deal of Tryptophan

From: Prescription for Nutritional Healing by James F Balch, MD and Phillis A. Balch, CNC

Tryptophan

Tryptophan is an essential amino acid that is necessary for the production of vitamin B3 (niacin). It is used by the brain to produce serotonin, a necessary neurotransmitter that transfers nerve impulses from one cell to another and is responsible for normal sleep. Consequently, tryptophan helps to combat depression and insomnia and to stabilize moods. It helps to control hyperactivity in children, alleviates stress, is good for the heart, aids in weight control by reducing appetite, and enhances the release of growth hormone. It is good for migraine headaches, and may reduce some of the effects of nicotine. A sufficient amount of vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) is necessary for the formation of tryptophan, which, in turn, is required for the formation of serotonin. A lack of tryptophan and magnesium may contribute to coronary artery spasms. The best dietary sources of tryptophan include brown rice, cottage cheese, meat, peanuts, and soy protein. This amino acid is not available in supplement form in the United States. In November of 1989, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reported evidence linking L-tryptophan supplements to a blood disorder called eosinophilia-myalgia syndrome (EMS). Several hundred cases of this illness-which is characterized b~ an elevated white blood cell count and can also cause such symptoms as fatigue, muscular pain, respiratory ailments, edema, and rash-were reported, and at least one death was attributed to the outbreak. After the CDC established an association between the blood disorder and products containing L~tryptophan in New Mexico, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration first warned consumers to stop taking L-tryptophan supplements, then recalled all products in which L-tryptophan was the sole or a major component. Subsequent research showed that it was contaminants in the supplements, not the tryptophan, that was probably responsible for the problem, but tryptophan supplements are still banned from the market in the United States.
