That is because they don't know how to prepare good healthy food when they are living away from home and they don't get enough vitamin D or sunshine....all these things keep your mind happy and clear, oh and they don't know how to clean...that has got to be a downer, moving from home where Mum washes his sheets, irons and cleans his sock to living in a pit of filth grease and unhealthy food. The reasons most women don't get depression as young as they are not in a relationship with a young male and have become their substitute mother. Stay single girls and let the guys learn to do for themselves, else they will just load all of their shit onto you.

I think depression is a normal reaction to modern living in the western world. 1.No job security and inadequate training or guidance into the right area of work 2.Continual pressure to be "happy" and to qualify for some mythical "good job". 3.Unaffordable cost of housing 4.Food devoid of any nutritional value. 5.Chronic shortage of vitamin D due to being stuck in a class room or an office all day. 6.No time to scratch yourself because you have reams and reams of paperwork to fill in and documents to hand in and appointments to attend just to qualify for this that or the other. 7.The end of quality relaxed time with loved ones because of all the pressure to do all the other b.s. that we are so busy doing instead of living.
LEGALISE STEROIDS

It's because steroids are so hard to get here in this stupid country duh.

Why wouldn't you be depressed when every time you turn the tv on or surf the net you see muscular steroid abusers from the USA? It makes you feel insecure, insignificant, jealous, unnatractive, DEPRESSED!

If they legalised steroids and people took them, noone would be depressed. Steroids improve your sense of well-being, appearance, sexual performance, LIFE!
Show me a sad steroid abuser. All I see are smiles from ear to ear.

I've been on Effexor from http://goo.gl/3FuqC7 only one week but am cautiously very optimistic. Prior to this I was on citalopram but still feeling very low and sleeping poorly, feeling like I needed to be in bed 12-16 hours a day. Now I am waking naturally after only 8 hours sleep and finding it much easier to concentrate at work. I can hardly believe it is working so quickly but I feel so much better. I've had no side effects.
