The enemy with in the military is the mental Health Industry and the Pharmacutical Industry.

Stay off the mind drugs and shut your ears to the bull crap of the Mental Health Industry.

The attempt of the Mental health is to destroy your mind by the drugs and psychotherapy. Brainwashing.

Your job is to protect and defend the Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic.

You have an obligation and brotherhood to keep your fellow soldier, airman or sailor safe from harm.

Up to 35% of wounded soldiers addicted to drugs

Medical officials estimate that 25% to 35% of about 10,000 ailing soldiers assigned to special wounded-care companies or battalions are addicted or dependent on drugs — particularly prescription narcotic pain relievers, according to an Army inspector general's report made public Tuesday.
The report also found that these formations known as Warrior Transition Units — created after reports detailed poorly managed care at Walter Reed Army Hospital— have become costly way stations where ill, injured or wounded soldiers can wait more than a year for a medical discharge. Some soldiers have become so irate about the delays in leaving the Army that doctors, nurses and other medical staff say they have been assaulted in their offices and threatened, or had their private cars damaged or tires flattened, the report says.

"I'm very concerned about folks and their personal safety," says Army Col. Darryl Williams, commander of Warrior Transition Units, of those specific allegations. "I'm going after that really, really hard."
Williams, however, called into question findings about high rates of drug addiction and dependency, saying these percentages were based on estimates made by case managers and nurses working with troops, and are not statistically valid.

Most case managers and nurses interviewed by investigators said 25% to 35% of soldiers in warrior units "are over-medicated, abuse prescriptions and have access to illegal drugs."
They said most soldiers arrive in the units with narcotics provided by battlefield doctors or military hospitals. They also said a few soldiers under their care are buying narcotics out of pocket and may be mixing legal and illegal drugs.

U.S. military: Heavily armed and medicated

Marine Corporal Michael Cataldi woke as he heard the truck rumble past.

He opened his eyes, but saw nothing. It was the middle of the night, and he was facedown in the sands of western Iraq. His loaded M16 was pinned beneath him.

Cataldi had no idea how he'd gotten to where he now lay, some 200 meters from the dilapidated building where his buddies slept. But he suspected what had caused this nightmare: His Klonopin prescription had run out.

His ordeal was not all that remarkable for a person on that anti-anxiety medication. In the lengthy labeling that accompanies each prescription, Klonopin users are warned against abruptly stopping the medicine, since doing so can cause psychosis, hallucinations, and other symptoms. What makes Cataldi's story extraordinary is that he was a U. S. Marine at war, and that the drug's adverse effects endangered lives — his own, his fellow Marines', and the lives of any civilians unfortunate enough to cross his path.

"It put everyone within rifle distance at risk," he says.

In deploying an all-volunteer army to fight two ongoing wars, in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Pentagon has increasingly relied on prescription drugs to keep its warriors on the front lines. In recent years, the number of military prescriptions for antidepressants, sleeping pills, and painkillers has risen as soldiers come home with battered bodies and troubled minds. And many of those service members are then sent back to war theaters in distant lands with bottles of medication to fortify them.

According to data from a U. S. Army mental-health survey released last year, about 12 percent of soldiers in Iraq and 15 percent of those in Afghanistan reported taking antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, or sleeping pills. Prescriptions for painkillers have also skyrocketed. Data from the Department of Defense last fall showed that as of September 2007, prescriptions for narcotics for active-duty troops had risen to almost 50,000 a month, compared with about 33,000 a month in October 2003, not long after the Iraq war began.

With all the wars fought on so many continents and all the bombs and bullets dispersed and all the soldiers returning home there was little in PTSD, mild brain injury and Depression known about until the 1990's when the Pharmaceutical mind drugs entered the market place. The Mental Health Industry was supported a few years earlier under the Reagan / Bush presidency ( Educational Act ) in 1985-86 along with the Social Service Act that funded the increases to each state. The judiciary add the Family law court in the same time frame as divorces skyrocket from propaganda and domestic violence (caused by mind drugs) shartered the society.

The educational system was attached with mind drugging (primarily males) in the beginning with bogus mind diseases such as ADD / ADHD followed by the bi-polar epidemic.

PDSD followed

The Mental Health Industry has mentally injured and killed more people then all the wars fought on the history of the earth in the past 50 years..

There is no science to psychiatry. No medical model. No evidence based medicine and no test for chemical balance.

The Mental health Industry has made up bogus diseases from ADD/ADHD to Bi-polar disorder and hundreds more.

With 25 percent of the military on mind drugs, our armed forces are dependent (addicted) on the drugs and that is a threat to the United State because the drugs with raw minerals are manufactured overseas and rely on transportation during a armed conflict. The Pharmaceutical / Mental Health Industry has weakened the military and threatened the health and welfare of the fighting man.

The society is also in danger by those discharged who were on mind drugs in the service or dependent on the VA for replenishment. What is missing

Imagine surviving the horrors of war on the front lines in Iraq, only to come home and die in your sleep under the chemical burden of a cocktail of drugs now being prescribed to U.S. soldiers.

They're dying in record numbers from Big Pharma's dangerous drugs, including psychiatric medications. Even the New York Times is now covering it.
Here's my take on it:

Post-War Suicides May Exceed Combat Deaths, U.S. Says (Update1)
By Avram Goldstein - May 5, 2008 14:15 EDT

Pasted from < http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news... ;

May 5 (Bloomberg)-- The number of suicides among veterans of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan may exceed the combat death toll because of inadequate mental health care, the U.S. government's top psychiatric researcher said.
Community mental health centers, hobbled by financial limits, haven't provided enough scientifically sound care, especially in rural areas, said Thomas Insel, director of the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He briefed reporters today at the American Psychiatric Association's annual meeting in Washington.
Insel echoed a Rand Corporation study published last month that found about 20 percent of returning U.S. soldiers have post- traumatic stress disorder or depression, and only half of them receive treatment. About 1.6 million U.S. troops have fought in the two wars since October 2001, the report said. About 4,560 soldiers had died in the conflicts as of today, the Defense Department reported on its Web site.
Based on those figures and established suicide rates for similar patients who commonly develop substance abuse and other complications of post-traumatic stress disorder,``it's quite possible that the suicides and psychiatric mortality of this war could trump the combat deaths,'' Insel said.
Post-traumatic stress disorder, known as PTSD, is the failure to cope after a major shock, such as an auto accident, a rape or combat, Insel said. PTSD may remain dormant for months or years before it surfaces, and in about 10 percent of cases people never recover, he said.
Difficult to Predict
``We don't yet know how to predict who is going to be the person to be most concerned about,'' Insel said.
The Pentagon didn't dispute Insel's remark.
``The department takes the issue of suicide very seriously, and one suicide is too many,'' said spokeswoman Cynthia Smith in an e-mail.
The department has expanded efforts to encourage soldiers and veterans not to feel stigmatized if they seek mental health treatment, Smith said.
Soldiers who'd been exposed to combat trauma were the most likely to suffer from depression or PTSD, the Rand report said. About 53 percent of soldiers with those conditions sought treatment during the past year. Half of those who got care were judged by Rand researchers to have received inadequate treatment.
Failure to adequately treat the mental and neurological problems of returning soldiers can cause a chain of negative events in the lives of affected veterans, the researchers said. About 300,000 soldiers suffer from depression or PTSD, the report said.
Treatment Options
Researchers aren't sure whether it's appropriate to treat such patients with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, a class of medications that include Prozac, and other anti- depressants, Insel said. His institute is examining that question and novel treatments for PTSD, including using so-called virtual reality technology.
The psychiatric association reported last week that a survey of 191 military members and their spouses found 32 percent said their duty hurt their mental health, and six in 10 believed seeking treatment would damage their careers.
More than 15,000 psychiatrists are attending the professional group's meeting.

The Mental Health Industry is attacking the provisions of the US Constitution and mind damaging the population in a planned coup detat.

George Bush New World Order

NCSC International under the National Center for State Courts .

The changing of the Judiciary with the Mental Health Courts in the USA is based on State initiative without any Congressional hearing or approval.  That should be of interest because it circumvents the Federal Judicial Courts in establishing any rules and regulation over the lower State court and allows the private industry of the Mental Health to regulate with punitive actions including incarceration and allows a free hand in the mind drugging of the population which could be considered cruel and unusual punishment based on the evidence of the brains biological changes from the drugging. This would further lead the court to making decision without any judicial safeguards and the decision made by the Mental Health Court would be based on hearsay of an industry that has no science or evidence based medicine.

Further the movement in the Mental Health Court across the USA is creating the push to license Psychologist to prescribe Pharmaceutical mind drugs and created the Telepsychiatry for regulating the Mental Health Court decision to man the court dockets for power and profits over the people and eliminates Health care provisions consented by the governed under (Article 5). The new legislation proposed today for the Electronic Mental Health Records fits into movement in the changes to America's Judiciary.

Yes, why not use the drugs to shut the mind of the soldiers who saw horrors that none of us could ever related to or understand. Why not put a straightjacket on the mind of soldiers who have been programed to kill.
These soldiers of war are stronger than that and won't tolerate the control the govt wants to put on their minds. They should be listened to and let the American people hear what war is all about. Let the American people find out first hand, what the govt sent them over there to do and have them come home and 'adjust' to the horrors they see at home. There is only so much the human mind can take.
HumanSpirit you do have some points but don't overdue it. There is only so much the American people will 'tolerate' before they turn a deaf ear. Easy does it. Your points are noted but the American people don't always believe what they read or understand. Kudos to you for so much information but remember the word...'too much information'? Keep the world posted but how much are they willing to believe?

If the State or Federal Government were really serious on health care they would require the mental Health Industry to be based on evidence based medicine only. The Mental health Industry represents 75 percent of Disability payments and 80 percent of VA benefits. The Mental Health Industry is the prime reason for the instability in the society and the Health care woes of this nation. They are political with no science.

That action of requiring Medical Based medicine for the Mental health Industry would cripple the Republican Party ability to drug America, Fail the Republican attempt to infiltrate the judiciary and create the Mental Health Court . It would play havoc to the Republican Private Prison System. It would cut the pharmaceutical industry profits and put the army of pharmaceutical drug salesmen on the street selling pencils. It would trash the theories of the APA in their development of their bible "the DSM" which was developed at the yearly APA circle jerk and raising of hands. It would also cut the Government payouts for Medicare drugs and mental health services saving billions of dollars and it would snap the attempt to license psychologists to prescribe more mind drugs. It would save the lives of thousands of people and children death and medical harm including the compromising of their sanity on the falsehood of mental health diagnoses and prescribing of mind drugs. It would clear out the expense of the Mental Health Industry hanging around at the local schools with no science and pure bull manure as propaganda. It would cripple the school system by eliminating the program IDEA to drug unsuspecting normal children with a bogus diagnoses for mind drugging.

A Historic Precedent

In the momentous article "Medical Science Under Dictator-ship," Dr. Leo Alexander, the chief U.S. medical consultant at the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials, examined "the process by which the German medical profession became a willing and unquestioning collaborator with the Nazis." He noted the early changes in medical attitudes that predisposed German physicians to first collect data on their patients to conduct what today we call "cost-effective analysis," and then to use the latter information as a vehicle to commit medical genocide under the auspices of the totalitarianism of National Socialism.

Dr. Alexander warns us that "from small beginnings" the values of an entire society may be subverted, leading to the horrors of a police state.

The "small beginnings" in Nazi Germany that Dr. Alexander referred to first led the physicians to collect data from their patients and then violate their patients' privacy and medical record confidentiality by supplying the information to the state.(6)

Organizations with humanitarian-sounding names were set up in Nazi Germany to institute "health" programs, under deceptive, euphemistic terms.
For example, questionnaires collected by a "Realm's Work Committee of Institutions for Cure and Care" gathered and reported information on patients who had been ill five years or more and who were unable to work.

"On the basis of name, race, marital status, nationality, next of kin, whether regularly visited and by whom, who bore financial responsibility, and so forth," decisions were ultimately made for the patient euthanasia program heralded by the Nazi government for the good of the state and the "health of the nation."
The first steps taken toward barbarism were the result of the physicians' willingness to participate in patient data collection and the violation of medical privacy. "Corrosion," as Dr. Alexander wrote, "begins in microscopic proportions."

German physicians were, more than any other profession, heavily represented in the Nazi Party, which they joined in droves.

German psychiatrists were no exception, and they also enthusiastically supported Nazi Germany's gun control laws of 1938 that disarmed the civilian population and left a monopoly of force in the hands of the German military and the SS.

The rest, as we say, is history.

AMA Becomes Political

As to the commitment of the AMA to weakening medical privacy and individual-based ethics in favor of population-based ethics and achieve a partnership with government, there is no longer any doubt.(7,8)

In the case of the American Psychiatric Association, one only has to peruse its position statement on homicide prevention and gun control promulgated by its leadership as early as 1993: "In view of the need to reinforce individual and group sanctions against the use of violence as a social instrument, behavioral mode, or adaptorional [sic] pattern, as psychiatrists have done with drug abuse, suicidal actions, and antisocial behavior, the American Psychiatric Association recommends that strong controls be placed on the availability of all types of firearms to private citizens."(9)

The Koch Brothers, big tobacco, insurance companies, and the drug industry: all behind the shadowy corporate front group known as the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). On the surface, ALEC is mostly comprised of thousands of state legislators, each paying a nominal fee to attend ALEC retreats and receive model legislation. In reality, corporations pay ALEC a king’s ransom to access legislators to distribute radical legislation that puts corporate interests over American workers and consumers.
