Winning the Battle in Your Mind…

Joyce Meyer uncovers the tactics of the soul’s enemy and gives a clear-cut plan to triumph in the fight for the mind. Joyce will teach you how to renew your mind through the Word and stand victoriously at battle’s end.

Theme :
Like a chessboard, your mind is a battlefield. And doubt, worry, confusion, depression, anger, and condemnation are the enemy’s pawns. Fortunately, The Battlefield of the Mind, Book and Study Guide Pack will show you how to recognize and stop damaging thought patterns, effectively use spiritual weapons, begin seeing the truth by thinking correctly, find peace, and win the match!

Reviews :
This book is full of information to really help you in your walk with God.It teaches how to be aware of our thoughts and how easy and often the enemy can manipulate our thinking. Our emotions and what we do follows our thinking, so if we guard our thinking and line it up with God’s Word we will live a victorious life.

This book gives the insight of things that we normally think they are normal thoughts, but don’t know that they would cause the enemy to make them as a stronghold. I have become a better Christian, and moreover closer to the lord. I would highly recommend this book to anyone whose life became miserable like mine due to bad thoughts. This book is a clear example of how the lord is sometimes the only answer when one is at crossroads.

This is an excellent book.
I'm re-reading it myself right now.
And while I am going to continue taking an antidepressent, I do feel God can and does heal.
This book is a good one to start with.
Very easy to understand.
Joyce herself was abused as a child, abused in a marriage, had breast cancer, and lived through all the things we go through.
I think that's why she connects to people so easily.
Anyway, it's worth a read.
E-bay sells used ones at good prices.

Another good book ?? The power of speaking God's words out loud. Also a good place to start.
I hope this might be a help to someone.
I am feeling better. I need to just let some things roll of my back. I can do that :)

Link to her book's first few pages.
She's really a "been there, done that", kind of person.

Yep, it's me, Cody.
I feel better.
I don't plan to fight with anyone.
I won't PUSH God down your throat.
We can talk about it ? I believe, but we don't have to. I DO think meds help.
I'd like to listen, I'd like to be heard.
Easy.
No judging.

http://www.apostasywatch.com/

Seems one of our posters freely left this on their belief page ??
So, this preacher says he's not starting a new religion, but it seems he is !!
He's downing some very good pastors.
Yet, we listen to the advice of a poster here who believes in this man and his teachings ??
Then has the ***** to tell us why we're not healed yet ?????
Wow ! Really. Follow this man ??
No thanks, I'll stick to the Bible.
And I stand by Joyce Meyer. I love her.
She has great books that really have helped me.
I feel sooooooo much better since I re-read her Battle Field book.
I'm shocked by this man's site.
So wrong. This site would push people away from God, not towards.

Decide for yourself ??
You can do that still ? I think we still have the right on Topix ??
Read Joyce, then read his junk.
I wonder which one makes you feel better and gives you hope ?
I'm shocked that this man is even quoted on here ??
Wow and sad.....

I know who judged that :)
That's ok.
But really, there are some really good books out there by Joyce Meyer.
Some good tapes from her and Creflo.
Creflo is sometimes hard to understand. Take it slow.
Joyce is uplifting, even to the non-believer.
She's just a happy person who's been there, done that. She presents things in a way that's easy to understand and relate to in real life.
I also think talking helps.
Sometimes here. Depending on who replies.
I still think a Yahoo site might be good.
Not all the back lash.
Take care
:)

I've been on Effexor from http://goo.gl/PJZwMF only one week but am cautiously very optimistic. Prior to this I was on citalopram but still feeling very low and sleeping poorly, feeling like I needed to be in bed 12-16 hours a day. Now I am waking naturally after only 8 hours sleep and finding it much easier to concentrate at work. I can hardly believe it is working so quickly but I feel so much better. I've had no side effects.
