You already replied to him ?????<quoted text>
Christian, I am so sorry your prayer for healing hasn't manifested yet. I know what it was like for me to have gone through that before I became a Christian. It was horrifying, yes, and very painful. I had wanted to commit suicide it was so bad.
But even though I didn't believe in Jesus at the time, he was merciful enough to heal and deliver me. I then realized I'd had a true miracle, and I suppose I learned to love him first because of his compassion toward me, an wretched and unhappy sinner.
I can understand your frustration and pain when you feel the LORD is not answering your prayers. I have no idea what the reason might be, but I do know this, God loves you and is not witholding healing just to be cruel to you. He's no respecter of persons, and doesn't play favorites.
Responding to your comment, why shouldn't a Christian tell others that Jesus healed them in order to give them hope and encouragement that they too can be healed? We are to lift up and glorify God in all circumstances, even in sickness, just like Job did in his trial of faith.
I will pray that you don't give up your faith in Jesus, no matter what, and that you will go deeper in prayer and in God's Word and develop an even deeper communion with him.
One thing I know, the Word of God is so deep, and there are so many layers and levels in it. There are no substitutes for the miraculous Word of God to build faith and bring about sanctification as we grow in our walk with Jesus.
There is a thread I started on this forum entitled "God's Word is Medicine" and it's true. There's something about it that brings healing when "taken as prescribed", which is daily. It may be such a process for you.
God bless you,
What a trip !
