Hi, I have not been diagnosed with COPD, but I am paranoid about it. Im 42, smoked since I was 15 pack a day. Im not neccissarially out of breath that I notice, but I have had larangitis for 7 months. I went to the ENT Doc. he said I was swollen all down my throught and said he thought it was allergy related. I cough at night, seems like I always have. My bf Said I cough like his mom did, who had COPD. I have been coughing up clear/pinkish bubbly phelem. How do you know if its allergies, asthma, or copd? P.s. Im so frustrated by the effect not having a voice has taken on my life, that I stopped smoking, cold turkey. without a second thought.
