Hi Everyone! Has anyone heard of or tried Bowtrol? I've been doing a ton of research and I've heard that Bowtrol is better. Is this true? I want to start a cleansing product ASAP, but I can't decide between Colonix or Bowtrol. Any suggestions would be great!
Thank you!!!

Tatyana I've also done my research and here's what I learned about the 2 products you mentioned.

Bowtrol has two ingredients that are known to cause alot of side effects, Senna & Cascara Sagrada. Both ingredients are mild laxative's that can lead to dependancy if used for longer than 7 days. Consult your doctor before using Bowtrol.

The main ingredient in Colonix is psyllium, which acts as a 'bulking' agent inside your colon. Psyllium absorbs water and expands to grab hold of any fecal matter inside your colon. One ingredient that concerns is a main concern is Senna in the Kleri-Tea. When used for more than 7days straight, Senna has been known to do bad things within the human body.

I recommend looking into cleansers that do not contain any harmful ingredients. Please read my blog for I am about to document my cleansing experience from start to finish.

Let me know how yours goes. Good luck!

This is a good review site: http://www.coloncleansingreportcard.com/bowtr...

But I have to tell you my experience with Bowtrol...not good. I was really disappointed...and I really gave it a chance.

I had this adverse reaction to Bowltrol. I have IBS, and basically I've felt like I've had the flu for the past three days, I had to miss work and my body was sore and achey all over. That was the probably the worst part. The aches. I felt like I was ninety (and I'm 27, so this wasn't normal).

I'm still having to take my every 30 minute bathroom trip, but at least I'm not falling over dead like I was yesterday.

My diet has overall always been healthy. I've been eating fruit and veggies, fiber, and drinking lots of water...but I've had to stop doing that all together, and I haven't been able to eat for two days. I've only been able to drink juice and water.

I stopped taking the supplement yesterday because I (physically) couldn't any more...but I'm still having a problem probably because it's still in my system. This morning I walked up the hill less than three blocks to the bus and I couldn't even make it that far. I had to stop in a coffee shop to use their restroom.

I really gave it a chance, but gave up after I researched two of it's ingredients: Senna and Cascara Sagrada. You're not supposed to take Senna for more than a week, even though the website says you can take it indefinately (which is basically a lie).

I know several people who personally use Bowtrol including myself. They all have had great results with it. You might have a more serious condition if you experienced all those symptoms.
Taking over the counter medicines is 100 times worse for you body then taking all natural things.

Is this product for children? Or is it only for adults? And by children I mean like a 5 year old.

I tried Bowtrol with terrible side effects and I have no underlying problems.3 of use went together to buy it and we all had bad side effects. If you haven;t ,consider yourself lucky. Then when you send it back , they wait until your 30 days are up then tell you your over the 30 day's.I had to report them to the attorney general in order to get my refund.Luckily I had my shipping receipt. Then they take off a $10.00 per bottle restock fee. BUYER BEWARE when it comes to Bowtrol ,RUN.

just the fact that bowtrol offers six month supplies, and contains addictive ingredients is a major red flag, all natural does not mean good for you, caffiene is all natural, etc and so on.
Blogs suchas LohanBehold are just slick product endorsements sites.

I have tried Bowtrol with great results. I suggest you adjust the amount of capsules you are taking if you are experiencing negative side effects. You should have normal bowel movements, and yes you will pass out large stools that are shaped like your intestines just as advertised. Don't be alarmed apparently this is normal.
Good Luck!

Stay away from the Bowtrol! If it does not work out you have to pay them $10 for EACH bottle you send back! So, if you try it for two weeks you have to send all 6 bottles back.$20 for shipping to you and about $70 to return it. I think this policy says a lot about the company and I do not trust the product. Sorry, but you can't treat a customer like they do.

I began taking Bowtrol on Tuesday - today is Saturday. I could not be happier so far. My movemnets are controllable - a lot in the morning and then regular, smaller, throughout the day. I have not had any attacks - or need to rush to the bathroom. I feel great and can tell I am loosing weight / bulk.
This sounds odd - but I have not passed the famous intestine shaped bowl movement, yet.
I bought 2 months - which seems like plenty. The doses are 3-8 capsules per day - all at once. I think there are 90 per bottle.

Crystal, I took my first dosage last night (3 pills) and have been cleaning out all day, which is wonderful because usually I'm blocked up for 3 days in a row. I haven't tried anything else but this is working so far. I'm hoping this continues to work this well because I'm feeling good today :)

I used Bowtrol on Sunday night 11pm and Monday morning 8am- was in the bathroom for 1/2 an hour ... felt great afterwards. My waist line and abs immediately came back to normal (big dinner sunday night.)

Tuesday I didn't take any. By body never felt better!

Wednesday night 11pm took 6 tablets. Woke up this morning an felt like I've got the flu. Headachey and sore boy.

By 11am - was in the bathroom for 20 minutes. Think I stunk up the whole house!

Still feeling a bit 'sea sick'... but will report later on today and see how things are.

Give it try. But don't sign up for 6 bottoles at a time.

This stuff really works!! I usually have a 'movement' 1ce a week. This is great. You can take tablets from 3-6 depending on how 'backed up' you feel. What is also important is to drink water so it can help flush the system. I didn't drink much one day and nothing happened. Definetely for people that have serious constipation. Ps you can order this from other websites.

I have heard nothing but good things about this product from stories I have heard in person. But when looking on the computer I found some negatives that do concern me a little bit. I have tried it for three days and promise you I have never felt better. I would only use it if a doctor recommends it for you or recommends the ingredients that it contains. I am consulting with a physician today. But so far I have found it to work correctly for me.

Don't listen to ANYBODY who says anything positive about Bowtrol. It's a scam, and here is why:

There isn't enough material in the serving size that they recommend, to do ANYTHING worthwhile, other than potentially give you softer stools from the laxatives they put in it.

But it will NOT cleanse your colon. Stay away!

It's ridiculous.

If you want a quality product, give www.DrFloras.com a shot. Lots of positive feedback (REAL feedback) coming from people.

We bought 6 bottles of Bowtrol from Healthbuy.com . Cost =$198. A complete rip-off. It did not work for us. It caused cramping & bloating. No weight loss either. Returned 4 bottles (unopened). They refunded only $86.63. Their facility is 37 miles from us, but they charged us $24.50 to ship (not refunded). They even charged us $20 to restock the 4 bottles ($5 each). Buyer BEWARE.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Leo

A loved one is being rather tetchy today. It won't take much to get on their nerves, even if you think they're being grossly unfair about it. Try not to make the situation worse by being sarcastic or provocative. Instead, encourage them to tell you what's wrong but without raising their voice. Once you know what you've done to irritate them you can start to put it right.
