New School Year Sees Increase in Pinkeye

Since the start of the school year, many doctors say they have seen an increase in a common infection.

Duh,of course there is an increase, germs all over the place, kids crammed in a small space together. Lice, pinkeye, etc. We will probably see a rise in the number of flu cases this year too because the crowded conditions most of us live in and because people won't stay at home from work when they are sick, afraid of losing their jobs, come to work sick and expose everyone else.

Well, also kids should really be taught the virtue of keeping their fingers out of their butts and washing properly after using the restroom.

Flu also just comes from the changing of seasons. When it gets colder, everyone catches colds and flu. And yes, if you are sick ask for the day off. Most companies have PTO days. Take one or a couple when you truly need it, not just because you want to go shopping!
