Color blindness is normally an inherited condition. Most people are born with the condition and will have it their entire life. There are levels and types of color blindness. In recent years there have been developments in special eyeware that allow certain 'confusing' colors to become more distinct. However there is no known cure for color blindness at this time.

I search in the internets for remedies in colour blindness and was surprised for what I had missed in life due to a colour vision deficiency (CVD). One company called Colorlite has glasses that compensate for CVD, but don't know how to get them, or how much it will cost me. Also, there are what they called Solarz sunglasses that improve vision, and also boosts colour clarity.
Perhaps, taking foods that help the eyes will improve vision, and at the same time CVD will be improved. Pray hard if you want the better things in life... |

Hi. I have tried hard to remove colour blindness. It is impossible. However, there are ways you can improve it. x-chrome glasses which is available like normal coloured spectacles or as contact lenses. If you are eyeing for selection in armed / police forces, better try contact lenses; you may get through if luck permits. Severity and types of colour deficiency varies from person to person - may be a million levels. Nobody is colour perfect. From the sky Eagles see a green grasshopper sitting on the same coloured grass. For us the colour/ hue and saturation of the grass and the hopper is same. But eagles see the difference. So, it is only the level of colour perception which counts for our daily lives as well as for any specific profession.
If you are willing; try the mixture of lemon juice and saffron (original kashmiri) and apply to your eyes at bedtime for a week and try Ishihara. If you are protanope i.e. red deficient, it is very likely to help. |
