Obama's plan for Health Care. Steal from those that have paid into the system all their life, deny health care to citizens so he can provide care for illegal immigrants.

We are already seeing our premiums go up along with our deductibles. It will get to the point that our deductible are so high we will not seek medical care. The writing is on the wall.

You stupid ingrates, what do you think Obama and the democrats are working to do, not the things you are griping about. He is trying to help you. You don't know what it is like to be uninsurable because of a pre existing condition. I'm on Medicare so I had to go to a Medicare advantage plan, you know where they pay Dr's to let you die. You get ill now and you get dropped or uninsurable because of a pre-existing condition. Is that what you all want? Then help the Republicans repeal Obama care and that is just what you will get. You should know the issues before you speak

Coverage for pre-existing conditions was also in the GOP plan. But you're deceived as to what's in this bill and what the democrats' intent is.

Aside from the 20 new and increased taxes (including the new 3.8% federal tax on real estate sales (including sales of American homes) and the goverment takeover of the student loan industry.....

This bill isn't about healthcare at all, nor does it do ANYTHING to reduce costs OR improve the quality of healthcare. Rather, it will do THE OPPOSITE.

It's the perversion and ruin of the best healthcare system in the history of the planet. It's Americans' lives controlled by government bureaucrats (150+ new bureacracies), run by government unions, and enforced by the IRS.

This bill is about TAXES, CONTROL, and WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION. It's about putting the thumb of big government and the IRS enforcers to disempower and rob more Americans' freedoms and liberties while giving ever-more power, money, and control to big government. It's also just the FIRST STEP in what will first become government control over insurance industry, and ultimately Obama's marxist goal of eliminating insurance companies altogether.

It's cradle-to-grave control over every American citizen and subjugation to more massive, out-of-control federal government bureaucracies. It's billions in new taxes, theft of Americans' hard-earned money and futures, and the theft of the American dream while simultaneously RUINING our healthcare system.

What we need is INSURANCE reform....for pre-existing conditions, interstate competition, regulation for frivolous lawsuits (tort reform), and sensible insurance cost regulation.

What we DON'T need is more lawyer benefits & protection (the absence of/token tort reform), coverage for millions of illegals, coverage for abortions, taxes on businesses, fines and penalties for businesses, fines and mandates for individuals, taxes on health insurance, exceptions for unions and democratic contributors,$500 billion in medicare cuts, more massive government bureaucracy (118+ new ones), government bureaucratic control over Americans'lives and healthcare decisions, government bureaucratic control over doctors, reduction in doctors' payments, end-of-life decision-making, direct government access to each and every American's bank accounts, and surrender of yet more freedoms and iberties (and thus perpetual dependency) to more socialist government control.

It's funny how Obama and the democrats continue to use strawman arguments against the republicans.

But here's what's really funny....

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want a freedom eroding, government empowering, huge taxation, cradle-to-grave control, wealth redistribution, and dependency scam the democrats' disingenuously call "healthcare reform".

• It's funny that the GOP wants common sense reform -- for insurance costs, interstate competition, pre-existing conditions, and tort reform.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want to go against the will of the majority of Americans who do NOT want this bill.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want the degradation of the quality of healthcare.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want an unConstitutional government takeover of the American healthcare industry.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want to unConstitutionally FORCE Americans to buy anything.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want federal government -- and 118 new government bureaucracies -- to dictate Americans' level of healthcare.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want to use the IRS as enforcers, and hire 16,500 new IRS employees to review every American's and every businesses' health care coverage EVERY month and impose fines for noncompliance.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want the rationing of healthcare for the elderly.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want to take the best healthcare system the world has ever known and destroy it.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want to exclude unions' and government employees' cadillac plans from being taxed.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want huge payoffs to buy off Senators, like Lousiana ($300 million in Medicare subsidies), Nebraska, NV, MT, WY, ND, and UT ($2 billion in Medicare subsidies), VT ($600 million add'l medicaid pmts), MA ($500 million add'l medicaid pmts), CT ($100 million), and 11 other states who get $8.5 billion in medicaid payments.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want backroom deals with big pharma and big insurance.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want to fund abortions and illegal aliens.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want to implement massive new taxation for pay for this sham.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want to immediately implement taxation but defer benefits until 2014.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want to lie about what this sham will ultimately cost, nor feed the CBO phony premises and false assumptions as to costs.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want to cut doctor pay to bring the bill in at under $1 trillion, then later add new legislation to increase doctor pay by by $50 billion.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want to allow direct government access to each and every American's health records AND bank accounts.

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want to add a government takeover of the student loan industry, nor a new 3.8% federal tax on the sale of American's homes into supposed healthcare "reform".

• It's funny that the GOP doesn't want to endanger us financially, jeaporize our finanical security, nor bankrupt the United States.

• And it's funny that the GOP doesn't think Americans' are complete idiots, stupid enough to believe that this sham will save money and not ruin both our healthcare system and our economy. Or stupid enough to not see that government takeover of the health insurance industry is their next step, with single-payer coming after that. Or stupid enough to not see this bill for exactly what it is --- more taxes, wealth redistribution, erosion of freedoms, empowerment of government, and the disempowerment and crade-to-grave control of Americans.
__________

But what's funniest of all are the democrats and their supporters who want the polar opposite. No wait, that's not funny at all, is it?

The objective of Obamacare is ultimately single-payer (with interim, pending marxist government control of the insurance industry). In other words, this is yet another massive socialist government-run program they can later grow and expand upon, before they can be stopped or reversed. This of course falls inline with his marxist goals of government control (over finance, education, healthcare, and energy), wealth redistribution, and social justice.

Thus we're witnessing "phase one" of Obama's marxist government healthcare takeover. And it's only 'phase one' because he's well aware that his goal of single-payer government control of all Americans' healthcare and the abolishment of insurance companies cannot be accomplished overnight, due to what would be overwhelming rejection from Americans.
So Obamacare is intentionally written to accomplish this goal automatically (witness insurance companies already dropping coverages and raising premiums).

Biden even let it slip a while back that their next step will be far greater control over health insurance companies, prior to their complete takeover and elimination. So like everything else, he lies and forces passage of everything government-control possible (on everything possible) in his one-step-at-a-time, fool-enough-of-the-people approach.

Like absoultely EVERYTHING else, the radical lying marxist lies to cover his hidden Soros-dictated takedown-America agenda because if he didn't, he be hogtied to the mast of the next deportation boat.

A 5-star commentary on the travesty of Obamacare (in 2 posts)....

From columnist Mark Steyn on Obamacare - "Untangling the Spaghetti"
http://christopherfountain.com/2009/08/12/mar...

What’s the end-game here? I suppose it’s conceivable that there are a few remaining suckers out there who still believe Barack Obama is the great post-partisan, fiscally responsible, pragmatic centrist he played so beguilingly just a year ago. The New York Times’ David Brooks stuck it out longer than most: Only a few backs, he was giddy with excitement over the President’s “education”“reforms”(whatever they were). But now he says we’re in “the early stages of the liberal suicide march”. For a famously moderate moderate, Mr Brooks seems to have gone from irrational optimism over the Democrats’ victory to irrational optimism over the Democrats’ impending downfall without the intervening stage of rational pessimism.

The end-game is very obvious. If you expand the bureaucratic class and you expand the dependent class, you can put together a permanent electoral majority. By “dependent”, I don’t mean merely welfare, although that’s a good illustration of the general principle. In political terms, a welfare check is a twofer: you’re assuring the votes both of the welfare recipient and of the vast bureaucracy required to process his welfare. But extend that principle further, to the point where government intrudes into everything: a vast population is receiving more from government (in the form of health care or education subventions) than it thinks it contributes, while another vast population is managing the ever expanding regulatory regime (a federal energy-efficiency code, a government health bureaucracy) and another vast population remains, nominally, in the private sector but, de facto, dependent on government patronage of one form or another – say, the privately owned franchisee of a government automobile company, or the designated “community assistance” organization for helping poor families understand what programs they’re eligible for. Either way, what you get from government – whether in the form of a government paycheck, a government benefit or a government contract – is a central fact of your life.

[continued, part 2 of 2]

A lot of the developed world has already gone quite a long way down this road. If you want to know what Obama’s pledge to “save or create” four million jobs would look like if the stimulus weren’t a total bust, consider what “good news” means in an Obama-sized state: A couple of years back, I happened to catch an intriguing headline up north.“The Canadian economy is picking up steam,” reported the CBC. Statistics Canada had just announced that “the economy added 56,100 new jobs, two-thirds of them full time.” That’s great news, isn’t it? Why, the old economy’s going gangbusters, stand well back.

But I was interested to know just what sectors these jobs had been created in. And, upon investigation, it emerged that, of those 56,100 new jobs, 4,200 were self-employed, 8,900 were in private businesses, and the remaining 43,000 were on the public payroll.“The economy” hadn’t added those jobs; the government had: that’s why they call it “creating” jobs. Seventy-seven per cent of the new jobs were government jobs, or “jobs”, paid for by the poor schlubs working away in the remaining 23 per cent. So the “good news” was just more bad news, just a further transfer from the vital dynamic sector to the state.

In Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, government spending accounts for between 72 and 78 per cent of the economy, and, as I wrote here earlier this year, that’s “about the best a ‘free’ society can hope to attain this side of complete Sovietization.” But, if you’re not on welfare, working in the welfare office or working for a “green solutions” company that’s landed the government contract for printing the recycled envelopes in which the welfare checks are mailed out, it’s not an attractive society to be in. It’s not a place to run a small business – a feed store or a plumbing company or anything innovative, all of which will be taxed and regulated into supporting that seventysomething per cent. After all, what does it matter if your business goes under? Either you’ll join the government workforce, or you’ll go on the dole. So you too will become part of the dependent class, or the class that’s dependent upon the dependent class. Either way, Big Government wins (as we already see in California).

In the normal course of events, the process takes a while. But Obama believes in “the fierce urgency of now”, and fierce it is. That’s where all the poor befuddled sober centrists who can’t understand why the Democrats keep passing incoherent 1,200-page bills every week are missing the point. If “health care” were about health care, the devil would be in the details. BUT IT'S NOT ABOUT HEALTH OR COSTS OR COVERAGE; IT'S ABOUT GETTING OVER THE RIVER AND BURNING THE BRIDGE.

It doesn’t matter what form of governmentalized health care gets passed as long as it passes. Once it’s in place, it will be “reformed”, endlessly, but it will never be undone. Same with a lot of the other stuff: Keep throwing the spaghetti at the wall. The Republicans may pick off the odd strand but, if you keep it coming fast enough, by the end of Obama’s first year the wall will be a great writhing mass of pasta entwined like copulating anacondas in some jungle simulacrum of Hef’s grotto. And that’s a good image of how government will slither into every corner of your life: You can try and pull one of those spaghetti strings out but it’ll be all tied up with a hundred others and you’ll never untangle them.

The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” -- Author Unknown

We have drug cartel activity slithering state-side, the most violent gang MS13, criminals and rapists from mexico, and the possibility of dirty bombs or trained mexican or non-mexican trained terrorists slipping through our border. We must shut down the illegal crossings, check IDs for validity versus fraudulent creation, and KNOW what people are here in the United States. It's called survival and common sense and is what was meant by our forefathers "provide for the common defense." NATIONAL DEFENSE is about the only thing we should expect from our government!
