I bet you that the uninsured don't get overtested or overtreated.

If everyone had to pay cash out of their pockets for all these procedures and medications, I would bet there would be far less testing and far fewer medications being taken.

Those doctors sure do LOVE the insured .... <cha-ching>

Because they get paid to overtest and overtreat.

That is a big part of the health reform for Medicare, that Media Inc. never told you about. Medicare will compensate doctors for positive outcomes, not procedures.

Attn: these reforms will preserve the Medicare trust fund. Meanwhile, 30 million more Americans will finally be able to afford to go to the doctor, including you after you lose your job...

Of course they are. They are covering their butts in
case of legal actions. This is one reason why tort reform
is so crucial for any stability or success in keeping health
costs under any control.

Why do you think we have the best healthcare in the world. It doesn't come cheap.

Not many Americans agree with you about that.

Obama is going to take $500 billion away from the people on Medicare and give that money to Obama voters who are not really entitled to it except for the fact that they did vote for Obama.

So now that "healthcare for all" is on the horizon, we're all -- all of a sudden -- being over tested and over treated. Funny how that works out.

Imagine what kind of healthcare we're going to be getting once this reform ball really gets rolling.

The deceitful liberal media "experts" are trying time and again to persuade the American people that the Obama death teams are right to prevent medical treatment to our parents and grandparents that will be deserted to die with not enough doctors, hospitals and drugs. With the flooding of the health system with 35 million illegal immigrant criminals and their families that do not pay taxes like other Americans, many doctors will be forced by Obama to see 150-200 patients every day while hospitals will not have available space for 8-12 months waiting time. When the anarchy of the Obama take over will happen, Obama will use nurses to become doctors because there will be very few doctors that will be overloaded. The liberal fraudulent media of the NY times, CBS, ABC and NBC is trying to persuade the elderly and sick that they do not need doctors because doctors are forced to do testing to protect themselves from the fake trial lawyers fraudulent frivolous lawsuits.
With no doctors available to elderly and sick in months of waiting there will be no testing and no treatment for our parents and grandparents that were sentenced to death by the Obama take over communistic dictatorship.

Blame Medicare and Medicaid for their complicity in rising health care costs and unnecessary medical testing. The government pays for this price gouging and they have done it for decades. They waste taxpayer money and waste patient time.

The increase in ceasarian section births was a direct result of US Senator John Edwards (D) using his fraudulent legal practice to extort millions from doctors and hospitals.

Republicans are calling for arbitrary caps in medical malpractice cases limiting compensation to legitimate victims rather than changing the medical malpractice burden of proof from a preponderance of evidence to clear and convincing evidence. The latter deters frivolous suits by making it too costly for lawyers to bother while not screwing over the more obvious victims. The Republican cap plan doesn't.
