rough it up and apply bactine spray, it will num it and explode viruses on contact, the active ingredient is the same as the 1 use medications sold at wallgreens for 20+$ and with bactine you will get hundreds of doses for 5$,

I have suffered from cold sores since i was a child. I usually get them every 3 months, like clockwork. Since i started taking 1000mg Lysine 3x daily and a B-Complex vitamin, they've become less recurrent. When I feel an outbreak coming on, I up the dosage to about every 3 hours.
I recently puchased Viroxyn. It was pretty pricey (about $40 for 3 small ampules). It was a miracle!!! You apply it at the first sign, 1 time and it stops those nasty bastards dead in it's tracks! The sore healed in about 2 days!
Imagine my surprise when I discovered the active ingredient was Benzalkonium .13%! Basically, it was Bactine!
Here's what you do:
1: mix 1 tsp Bactine & 1 tsp 90% alcohol
2: dip a couple of Q-tips in
3: massage gently, but firmly into the sore
4: relax!!! stress isn't gonna help you any!
i did this about 4x a day and the sore went from a red bump to a tiny scab within hours. Totally healed in 2.5 days! And in total it cost me about $6 instead of $40!
I'm sorry this post is so long, but I know what it's like to suffer from this embarassing ailment and felt I should share this discovery. Please try it. I hope you all have the same results I have. Good luck!

I Have a cold sore right now and I'm doing the old Ice thing. It has worked for me in the past, but I'm not sure if it is working now. I am definitely about to give the bactine alcohol thing a try. God I hate cold sores.

Trilex definitely works if you catch it at the tingle or when you get your first blisters. It dries the cold sore out from the inside, you can feel it working, it feels a little weird but it works. You can find it here:

I also put tea tree oil on it just to make sure it stayed dry and to keep it from forming.

just use the bactine it really works, i was sick of spending 100$ a year, the lidocaine in bactine had a great numbing affect but you can also use nasal sprays or visine, esp. if you get a sore in you eye or nose, its the same active ingred. and it works like a charm! I dont cut my bactine w/ rubbing alcohol but i suppose it couldnt hurt!

Bactine is awesome! I get unbearably painful herpes outbreaks on scrotum. I put the bactine liquid on and it not only numbs the pain but makes it heal much faster. It is the best thing I've ever used. Allowed me to stop valtrex.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Aquarius

Unfortunately it won't take much to get your wires crossed, especially if you're trying to keep track of your Christmas preparations. It's hard to work out what still needs to be done. A member of the family is away with the fairies or is being completely fanciful. It's a pest because that sort of behavior can make you feel anxious and harassed.
