so yesterday i woke up with that feeling...the one that makes you sick to your stomach bc you know when you go to look in the mirror the horror thats going to be growing on your face. needless to say i had two cold sores in both corners of my mouth..the worst spot bc everytime you talk it splits...anyway after using alcohol and nail polish remover on them for a couple hours last night befor i went to bed i went through the med cab just to see if there was anything else i could think of to put on them..and i found a spray called ivy dry...i figured id give it a shot because it said it would also dry out chicken pox..same virus as cold sores..so i sprayed it onto a q-tip and applied a couple times befor bed not only did it feel good because it contain menthol but it really really dried the cold sores out to the point where one just looks like dried irritated skin and the other went right into the scab phase over night...this stuff works great, not sure if they still make it though bc i bought it a couple years ago when i had poison ivy...give it a shot if you can find it!!!
