I was having serious problems with my right wrist where I had surgery forty years earlier. I went to physical therapy, where I was given a splint and some ultrasound therapy, neither of which worked. I then saw Shannon Brown. She explained that I had adhesions that were limiting the use of my wrist. In one session she broke up adhesions and my wrist has been completely pain free for nearly four years. I can't say enough about Shannon's skill as a massage therapist. She is remarkable!

I was having these terrible headaches, but three weeks after having leeches applied to my eyeballs every day, I forgot all about them. Sometimes mainstream medicine just isn't all its quacked up to be.

Please make an appointment with therapist Karen at Dominican Hospital's Lymphedema Clinic if you have surgical scarring. She is amazing!

Shannon is amazing - I've been seeing her for two years. Her techniques for scar tissue works wonders! She also helps with my headaches and migraines - something more than 20 health professionals, over 10 years, countless labs and tests, and "lets try this prescription" have yet to help. I'm so glad to see her getting the recognition she long deserves!

Shannon has been amazing with her intuitive touch and has worked wonders on my ankle scars to enable me to live with limited pain and increased mobility. I had surgicle sites on both sides of my ankle that had extensive scarring that was leading to increased swelling and pain and with Shannon's hard work I am now off of daily NSAID's and feel so much better. I am confident that without Shannon I would have been in miserable pain for the rest of my life.

I am glad to see the positive comments from this poorly written article. The LAc quoted, is the Admissions Director for Five Branches and not a good representative of the Santa Cruz acupuncture community. I have seen Shannon's work, her before and after images of her scar therapy treatments. There is a very impressive one of a large scar on the forearm. Shannon was able to break up the adhesions and allow her client mobility she had lost for years! There is so much more this article could have made clear about Shannon's amazing work, so I'm glad we have a chance to add more about her here.
