Kids' wrist size tied to heart health

The size of a child's wrist may offer clues to future heart health. A study in this week's Circulation found that overweight children with larger wrist bone measurements had higher insulin resistance, a risk factor for developing heart disease.

Its sad there is a need for this research at all. Kids are looking to their environment to make decisions - whether its a cartoon characters or parents.
