Y'all were in a major article about the same thing in USA Today a couple of weeks ago, now this. Austin just can't seem to stay out of the news on this. Seems it's "ground zero" in the drug epedemic. I'm so happy every time I think about my hard earned tax dollars being spent to subsidize welfare and food stamps for a bunch of people who can lay around all day pushing needles full of poison into their veins. Keep telling me how great your little town is. Meanwhile, I better get back to work. I'm sure the Democrats are hard at work thinking of new taxes to impose on us hard working, productive members of society.

Raoul Duke: We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, laughers, screamers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get into locked a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon.

Well it looks as if IV drug use will be falling . With the bad health of dopers. HIV should finish them sooner. Should be free dope to anyone who shares needles .

I hate prohibitionists who parrot the government propaganda they have been force fed by failed fashion models reading officially prepared press releases. How do you think all those controlled substances get into this country? Who could get all of it past customs. Let me guess your dumbass is going to tell me it's all the Mexicans, right? The illegal drug trade is worth between 500 billion and one trillion dollars, but it's all just Carlos and his cousins with a bus full of drugs, kids and chickens.
Also there perhaps could be a more progressive approach to addiction than that idiotic "Hang 'em High" approach you have been indoctrinated into espousing.

Oh my would you look at that! There is another approach which doesn't cost taxpayers billions to enforce your moral codes.

See it's uneducated people like you that make this world a bad place you don't have a clue most all the addicts don't get any welfare food stamps or Medicaid that's why the girls are hooking and the guys steal and some drop to their knees so you not working for them but for the lazy bums that won't work don't do drugs and dropping babies like kittens

The County didn't want any rehab facility it would put law enforcement ,attorney's & and our political mafia out of business. Now I hope they can all sleep well for what they help to create. Why wasn't it made aware to the public that they were averaging 5 cases yearly with HIV and warn these addicts that it was out there to not share needles.Shamful

I'm a RN I also give up hard earned money, people like you really get under my skin acting as if your chump change really makes a difference. God help you if a family member of yours falls victim to this horrible disease called addiction. Believe me gun your really not that special. Bitch
