I've been on Advir 500/50 for over 3years and don't think I've had any bad sides affects. I'm67 male with a FEV 1 of 23 and before Advair was on all sorts of things ,none seemed to help me like the Advair has.PS I walk on a tread -mill 30 Min just about every day and do a easy workout with weights ect 2/4times per week. That I belive is why I can still get around like I do.

My Grandson has been on Advair for about three years. He is only 9 years old and all of his hair is falling out in huge chunks. He is now bald on top of his head and all the kids at school make fun of him. I have a photo of him in kindergarten looking cute with a full head of hair(before Advair), and a photo of him in first grade (after he started Advair) he has huge dark circles under his eyes and looks sickly, now all his hair is falling out and he has hives all over his body. The doctor keeps him on the drug anyway. He is much smaller than the other boys, and I wonder if it could be affecting his growth. Does anyone out there know of similar symtoms in kids taking this drug?? Please email me with any information! I am very worried. sold@angelawilliams.com
