In relation to this, remember that not all FDA-approved medical products are completely safe and effective. For instance, newly-released information presented that about 12 to 13 percent of patients who received one of the recalled hip implants needed a replacement surgery after just five years. DePuy is a subsidiary company of Johnson and Johnson, which issued a worldwide recall of their products. According to Dr. Stephen Graves, the director of the National Joint Replacement Registry in Australia, they have been telling Johnson&Johnson to implement the DePuy Hip Replacement Recall since 2007. But it was just realized in August 2010. Moreover, from 2008 until the recall of the products, the Food and Drug Administartion (FDA) have been receiving several complaints from patients, whom needed to undergo another hip replacement surgery. Several DePuy lawsuit have also been filed by the victimized patients. See http://www.hiprecalllaw.com/symptoms/ for more information.

Know that not all FDA-approved health products are absolutely safe and effective. Take for example, the recalled DePuy hip replacement device which was approved in 2003 and was recalled in 2010. Worse hip problems occur to patients who received this device. This happens when the device is not attached to the bone correctly; the unit is dislocated and misaligned; and the bone around the implant is fractured. Moreover, defective hip devices may deposit pieces of toxic metal into the patientís bloodstream. The body tissues may also form pseudotumors. Thus, it is vital to have your hip device checked up regularly. See http://www.hiprecalllaw.com/symptoms/ for more information.
