Statins May Join Fight Against Breast Cancer
For breast cancer patients with a p53 genetic mutation may someday start taking statins -- drugs that lower cholesterol -- to help fight their disease.

That's interesting, but other research just made the national news. Seems that statins increase the risk that a woman (not men, just women) will develop type II diabetes THREE FOLD. That's a HUGE increase.
