I'm just glad that we're in an age where these things can be assessed. I can't imagine how horrifying things were even 100-200 years ago.

The return of “old world” diseases such as cholera and malaria ...

Don't forget devout adherence of old wives' tales such as that you contract illness from sitting by an open window or from drinking cold liquids.

An ongoing and never-ending search for cures. Diseases will continue to mutate and evolve just as we do... what a frustratingly compelling line of work.

It is frustrating, but maybe it's just accepting that at every point in time, there's a job to do. It's vanity to think we'd find a cure all

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Sagittarius

Once again, your nerves are getting the better of you. There will be some fraught moments unless you can control your temper and not get drawn into verbal fisticuffs at the drop of a paper hat. It won't help if a partner is feeling neglected as that will give you something else to worry about. You need to relax and start enjoying yourself!
