Do they think this is some kind of new information? It shouldn't take a kung fu to relate this information to the public. Herpes Zoster is latent chicken pox and it may not erupt for as much as 10 to 20 years after the person had chicken pox. Chicken Pox is a normal juvenile sickness and is not contagious after the 24 to 48 hour fever is gone. Why so many vacinnations? Because the public does not inform themselves nor does the local health departments. That should be in their job descriptions to give education programs to the public either at schools or civic centers.
